  • I love this video great job!

  • I'm in LOVE with this beautiful song.?

  • its butifle.and guess what.im going to make my ears like a elf!so ha!

  • @ThePaigeo1 are you really? that's really cool, but really painful i'm guessing. and thanks :)

  • @C0TES Screw you then!

  • Aum.

  • i gain tears every time i listen to this

  • This is a really good video! Its kinda peaceful. Good Job! How do you make the music in the back round?

  • Thanks for the upload, amazing song. Makes me speechless every time I hear it.

  • this reminds me of spice and wolf

  • elves are awesome!!!

  • My heritage is Norse, a mythology as rich and vibrant as any in the world. I have studied Greek mhythology with all its tragedy and comedy. Why is Celtic myth (incidentally, I'm a soft C user) the most romantic and absorbing of them all. Heck, maybe it's just semantics and the few words that have come down to us are so beautiful ... face it, Guinivere rolls off the tongue easier than Brunhilde.

  • @deriter64 the Arthurian myth cycle is just that A Myth cycle..Since no evidence has been found that would

prove that Kind arthur actually lived

  • @Freyja1133 Hi, I don't quite understand you're point. No one said Arthur was real I was commenting that Celtic mythology, to which the Arthurian legend was an add on, is rich and diverse and as beautiful as the human imagination could make it. Likely there was a Romano-British war leader(s) who opposed the Saxon incursion after Rome retreated and those tales were incorporated by later writers into Celtic mythology but it is a part not a whole,.

  • @deriter64 I 'm sorry .. i'm still interested in celti mytholgy... but Irish celtic mythology,not welsh/english

My point is that there was a warrior prince who helped marcus arilianus. fight the saxons at that time..... but ,none actually knows his name

  • @Freyja1133 The mysticism and beauty of Irish Celtic mythology beckons anyone with any imagination at all (at all?}, but sometimes I think one has to be born to it to understand. Even to the popular fiction interpretation can anything send a chill up your spine like a banshee? Leprachuans have become cereal advertisments but the concept is deep and serious. And if a beautiful maiden beckons you from the surf, run away! And this is just the fluff, it ignores the heroes. All the best, friend.

  • @deriter64 I've alwys felt that I was born into teutonic mythology..So I understand it....

IALso <I love the scandinavian folk tales& Dutch

  • @deriter64 My heritage is Russian..While there is very little that is known about the eastern slavs... I've found that Ihave to stick with Teutonic Wicca..

because the abscence of information on slavic paganism...

  • @Freyja1133 It's easy for me, I was raised on tales of Odin, Frey and especially Thor with his goats and magic hammer battling trolls, wonderful stuff. I'm not a scholar, just a dilletante with curiosity. I've only ever brushed against Slavic mythology, some of which is really scary with things hiding in wheat fields but considering the wealth of Russian literary imagination I bet it's fascinating. All the best.

  • @deriter64 Or Brynhildr?

  • Where did you get the pics? =]

  • i like it ^-^ its cute

  • hay at 2:49 it was link :) and love this song so putting it on my mp3 player and love the pic's there so beautiful

  • name of song please?

  • @CastellaMusic the voice? lol you dodo.

  • @zetsway121 Yeah the Voice from Celtic women

  • <3333 :D again....hi!

  • I'm sorry, but I am obsessed with elves!<33333 I love this!!

  • @Bellaa51 Don't be sorry, there are worse things to be obsessed with than elves and they've been around a long time in all cultures. The tragedy of elves, from Tolkein to Anderson, is that in the end they must retreat before humanity. All the best.

  • @OblivionIris thanks :)

  • what is this song called? and can u get it on itunes???? jw

  • whats with the pic at 2:37 ?

  • what song is this???

  • Please!!!!! Where I can find the pictures in 1:38 and 2:21?

  • good job men

  • i seem to know a few elves but this song only matches the girls, what about the guys

  • the voice is perfect just like my mothers....(she elven)

  • The Voice is so beautiful...^-^

  • @TheLittleMangaGirl That was just my opinion. I wasn't being defensive :) Sorry.

  • @TheLittleMangaGirl I don't think it would suit LOTR at all. It's not serenely haunting enough for the LOTR's Wood Elves.

  • like the anime elf pics. keep up the good work!!

  • so the one who sang this song is called Celtic Woman?

  • @Necrod0rus The singer is Lisa kelly, the violin player is Mairead Nesbitt. They are both soloists in the group Celtic Woman.

  • Excellent! Thank you!

  • what the penis?

  • link and navi! thats awsome.....great vid

  • i read a comment somone made about the elvish language being real. i must ask, where did they read that? i must know. my curiosity will never be satisfied untill it is fed

  • @VeenaXShea well Tolkien composed an entire and complete Elvish and Dwarvish languages for Lord of the Rings. There's thousands of websites out there where you can in fact study the language.

  • I wish i could read and speak elvish...since its a real language... with aplhabet, conjugations of verbs, nouns etc etc...but i would rather invest my time in Japanese, but if i did know elvish naturally i would love it! Such a mystical language and culture XD

  • such a nice song to listen to! even if it has nothing to do with elves the song seems to fit them...I really like this song i could listen to it all day ^^

    bye ;)

  • whats this song called?

  • good combination!

btw, you still have these picts ? i can't find them on PB :/

  • "the Elf Voice"... Truly magical name. And yes, this is... *Thinking* Not Eimear Quinn, I'd say this one is Lisa Kelly, and her voice is a little, little lower than Eimear's. Eimear is up in the falsetto, but Lisa remains in the soprano.

    Beautiful artwork :)

  • Actually this IS Eimear Quinn. Its her song called The Voice.

  • Oh I think not. Take a look at my page and check the two versions of the Voice. You'll find that this is not Eimear Quinn. This is Lisa Kelly.

    //LadyAelys (I know, I can't accept that I could possibly be wrong :P)

  • No, i just bought it on ITunes yesterday. Look up Eimear Quinn, the first song that pops up is The Voice, its her. Go look.

  • WOW-i need to hear a lot more of these wondrous voices!!!

ive always been a fan of celtic music, but this is quite beautiful,in the way that you just block everything out of your mind and fully focus on one thing in particular:D

  • is realy?

  • Comment removed

  • This song is soo beautiful. i was anger before listening to this song but now im soo calm. Thank you

  • very beautiful song!!

  • beatiful song!

  • whats the name of the pic at 1:29 its so pretty. is she from something in particular or just a fan art ?

  • I was thinking of Brian Froud's faeries when I listened to this, actually. Now those are faerie as they should be! Also, his 'Dark Crystal' came to mind as well. Still, it was a nice offering. I enjoyed the music as well.

  • Faila linda, lempe eleni.

    (Just beautiful, five stars.)

  • Ai eis si byli os si var sar shor eilar shi

  • awesome! whats the song called?

  • the voice

  • good work!

  • I like anime, but anime Elves annoy me, especially modern-looking ones. They seem to lack the magic and mysticity that I like in Elves as beautiful and wonderfully enchanting people of the wood. They would go better with this kind of music, I feel, especially due to its message of earthly power that it seems to speak of.

But that is just my view.

  • @ReikoKyata Agreed - I understand, for my main representative element is Earth (followed VERY closely by Spirit).

  • @ReikoKyata I understad they seem to be more for the (sex) pleasure than the magikal Proplerties

  • @ReikoKyata you stink

  • @ReikoKyata Yeaaaaaah, Middle Earth-ish Elves > Elves that...aren't...middle earth-ish.

  • @ReikoKyata nothing will ever capture elves' mystic, power and beauty

  • @ReikoKyata IMO, that varies from anime to anime. Mostly, I agree though. Anime elves feel more like overgrown pixies or maybe faeries - curious, mischievous, with magickal tricks and what not, but not Elves.

Then again, my image of Elves comes from folk tales, Tolkien and Warhammer.´, so it's hardly any surprise.

I don't quite follow your last sentence though - "earthly power"? I always imagined Elves as the direct opposite of "earthly powers".

  • @ReikoKyata Agree. In general, Anime go well with japanese themes. Western painting with western themes. Easy, ain't it?

  • @ReikoKyata guess how I know you're gay

  • @75caton they don't like something you like.... go figure...

  • @75caton

Guess I know you're being very rude?

  • @ReikoKyata it is also mine... :)

  • @ReikoKyata I agree with you completly! I love elfs and faireys but they never seem to get them right in anime and stuff like this

  • @ReikoKyata I shall keep that in mind when I draw.

  • @ReikoKyata

I like to think of it like this. A modern elf would have to adapt. They'd blend in, for they are guardians, witnesses of the world, a silent watcher trying to guide people to a harmony of sorts. And that purity of purpose, it powers their soul, gives them their magic. Elves are however tied to the earth, and to heal, to commune and remain healthy, they will have to return to the earth, the trees, the creatures, and the flow. And this is a spiritual thing for many, like coming home

  • It says in the discription celtic women is the artist of this song. cool vid 5/5

  • the song makes you want to listen it always like drugs but it does deal any damage

  • its great and you made vid perfect, so if you want to make a vid of pippens song it would be great:D i really love the vid (L)

  • Mmm, I usually find that our tangible expressions of fantasy (like this woman singing "like an elf") doesn't live up to my imagination :( Still, not bad.

  • nice song

  • who's the artist please tell!?

  • the artist is celtic woman?????

  • :09,:55, 1:01, 1:11, 1:54, 2:03 2:23, 2:31, 2:51, are perfect for this song. I always think of a wild woman with dark eyes and hair, dancing in a clearing of hiding in reeds.

  • i love it
