I was at this show! drove 4 hours to be there, well worth it. Amazing song, powerful lyrics as usual from Mr. Bazan.

nice - where from? i drove like arund 2 1/2 hrs or so up from charlotte. i borrowed a flip cam to take with me, i wish i'd had enough batteries to get the whole show!

Truly amazing song. I lone the layering of the instrunemts in the song. No complicated guitar licks, just multiple simple parts creating a masterpiece.

Man I so wish they would record this version and release it. The Headphones version is cool, but it kills so hard with the bass, guitars, and acoustic drums. Thanks for getting this! : )

They have a C.D. "Live From Electric Audio" that you can get on Bazan's website. It has new versions of this and many other Pedro/Headphones songs on it. It's basically a more polished version of this rendition, it's really good.

@dellismulligan Oh yeah. I preordered that back before it came out and have listened to it extensively : ). That album was a dream come true. I would have loved them to include "Hard To Be" with the band, but this song was fantastic.
