Well, back in the days when the scene first started, mc's just used to shout for rewinds and bigged up the crew and djs. Then, as far as i know, it was actually GQ and Moose who started to rhyme over the beats and then of course, Stevie Hyper comes along and proper kick started it and influenced alot of mc's.

Yeah Ribbz has been around a while aswell. Even Bassman has been at it since 1988 when it was all acid house. Mc Tekno too. He was fucking ace at vocal scratching. Way better than Storm. Shame he int about anymore
