  • In this movie, Sean Penn gives the best performance I've seen an actor give. See it!

  • don't forget the documentary "The Times of Harvey Milk" ! ! !

  • you two are so cute

  • i found the film slightly cold but hats off to them for paying homage to a good man

  • great job as ever.

  • nice review!

  • Great movie, but see the documentary "The Times of Harvey Milk" it's WAY better!

  • saw this film in a OV theatre in Madrid, conervative audience, and was proud to hear the raving comments gon wait out, thanks mainly tot Penn's performance. Hope he gets the statue. L, M makes great cup cakes, but you didn't say anything how much you like them.... Missed the White eating junk food too. Even my husband who can edit 30 minutes off a film on the way home, was thrilled about what he had just seen, even if the good guy gets killed at the end and we know it from the beginnig.

  • hahaha yeah i really did enjoy watcning this.. i can see how it got so many views .. and i agree with the comments below. well most of them anyways.

  • I was happy the they brought out the fact that gays just as non-gays have relationships that focus on their lives out of bed and not just sex. I have been with my partner over 35 years and in the earlier years, yes sex was a very major part of our love/lust for each other, but now in our mid-sixtys, just as with straights it is less of the partnership and our families, friends and the world events seem to be our major connection.

  • this movie is a masterpiece!

  • I don't think it made a saint out of Milk. It celebrated his accomplishments, but the film didn't forget his faults. The movie showed when it came to his relationships, Milk always seemed to rush into them. He picked up Scott (James Franco) on a subway platform and after 2 min of conversation slept with him and became his lover. A drunk Jack (Diego Luna) shows up on his door step and they immediately sleep together and enter a relationship. The film was incredibly realistic I thought.

  • the film showed him to be a perfect politician, so the question is whether that was accurate. it was a political film, so it didn't matter about his personal life. i think it could possibly have shown him as too honorable of a politician.

  • Harvey Milk was in the US Navy during the Korean War, not the Vietnam War. Otherwise, a great review as usual. :)

  • I just saw Milk, and I think Sean Penn and Josh Brolin, DEFINTLY deserve Oscars. But, I won't put my opioion in stone until I see all the nominated performances.

  • Keep up the great work. I love watching you two. Its really interesting to hear what people from an earlier generation think about these films.

Your comments about Ghandi gave me an idea for a suggestion... have you guys thought about doing some classic movie reviews? I'd really like to hear your take on some of the older films out there. It wouldn't have to be a regular thing but every now and then would be nice.

  • If your going to review Ghandi, your going to need some evidece to back your opinion. I enjoyed Ghandi the movie, the history, and the costumes.

  • Ghandi was too long, but poignant nonetheless.

  • Enjoyable review :)

  • Love your movie reviews. I always watch your reviews before seeing movies :)

  • I disagree with him say Ghandi being a bad movie - it was a great movie.

  • Great Review!! The enthusiasm in your review is a bright spot in such bleak times

  • You guys are great.

  • You guys are awesome. Thanks!

  • I really enjoyed watching this -- interesting commentary -- now I want to see more of your reviews (and yes I enjoyed Gandhi but I was 12 when I saw it)

  • Lovely!

  • i really want to see this movie, so i am glad to hear that it is good.

  • I always enjoy so much your reviews, I run the risk of appretiating them more than the movies :=)

  • From what I remember, Gandhi was a very good movie. Only a bit too long for the average movie viewer.

  • Another great review. I deeply enjoy these. And I HATE Gandhi.

  • Lorenzo, you didn't like Gandhi? Whether or not it was realistic enough (it was a biopic as opposed to a docudrama[I hate labeling movies like this]) Gandhi was damn entertaining, beautiful and inspiring for myself as a young person and a great way to be introduced to the idea of the man and what he represents now as a symbol. To each his own, love the reviews don't ever stop please.

  • lol, "I agree... for a change." Thanks for all your videos. They are always interesting and insightful, as are both of you.

  • great review

  • These two are great! Keep it up!
