Excellent tutorial... I was taught the 2 beat weave years ago, after which a friend lent me her home-made poi. It is encouraging to see that a few of the moves you have shown (butterfly, etc) I picked up myself, just through messing around. Your videos have given me the impetus I needed to pick up poi spinning again-and maybe teach my kids a thing or two. Keep up the good work. :))
@RaverDudeSkittles Probably because I'm on a sloped surface. The camera doesn't really capture just how much of a hill I'm standing on. There's no reason for it when it comes to the poi spinning, no.
You're welcome. I always stand up for what is fair and I've seen plenty of videos, including yours, and I hate ignorant ppl that just spread negativity. Your tutorials are ace mate and I encourage you to keep teaching your way, 'cause it's VERY helpful! If you're ever in South Florida, USA, look me up! =:o]
@NathanielEverist What a terrible question. What indication shows he doesnt know enough to teach this? From what i've seen of poi spinners, nathaniel everist is one of the most knowledgable and versatile spinners I've seen. His range of techniques is huge. I aspire to be half the spinner nathaniel is. Keep making videos mate, you're the only guy who can teach me properly.

I've noticed you've been putting one leg ahead of the other, usually off the ground.. Any reason, or just habit?

Nobody should be teaching what they themselves can't do. I can do the butterfly, so I'm comfortable teaching it.

what kind of jerky, ignorant question was that? Have you seen all his videos, before you ask such an arrogant question?
