Dear Ex-fan. What is sad about quitting at then top, becoming a Principle Engineer for Philips Semiconductors in Silicone valley? Then having them find out about my entertainment past and asking me to sing for my colleagues at their anniversary party? I accepted and am more proud to sing for them and even more proud to be accepted as one of them than I ever was to sing in Las Vegas. I guess I could have just taken a job parked cars in San Jose, but that would be sad.
This is so refreshing. To see him perform with all the humor and wit of Elvis and finally that voice is so close I think Im listening to the original Elvis recording. I'm sure it's the original Presley backup because no band could copy that exact recording studio sound.

I was always a fan of Alan since I saw him in the historic JL Telethon. Glad that he did so well, but this is sad to see him in this venue.
