Aziza became Aziza thanks to herself. Her talent and hard work brought her where she is now. She plays her own music (not her father's), has her own unique style. Sure, father's gens and mothers love and care did it thing, but we all owe our life to our parents. Aziza deffenitely caught an azeri bug ))), she plays pure azeri tunes, but does it really matter? True Art is Universal! Open your hearts and enjoy the masterpieces by a Godsent Wonder-AZIZA MUSTAFA ZADEH. Love you all.
Two different nations: Turkey and Azerbaijan!!!... if somebody relates to turkish people, that's his/her problem. Azerbaijani people are not turks or turkish or persian - WE ARE AZERBAIJANI once and for all. There is only similarity of our languages and that's it. Why can't everybody just be proud of being Azerbaijani??? We are as unique as any nation!
i think for that girl we should thank her mother Elza xanum. her father died when she was just ten. what she has become is the result of her mother's upbringing and loyalty to the memory of her dad.
Yeah great voice but this girl can also play the keys better than most. She shredds in the best way possible. She puts our Diana Krall to shame. Nothing against Mrs. Costello but Aziza is just amazing.
It wouldn't hurt to include the correct spelling (!) in the parenthesis, whoever was publishing this video does not speak Azeri... How about something like:
Aziza Mustafa Zadeh - Mon Vagilim Giziyam (Man Vagifin Giziyam)
You welcome, but this is the title which written on the video, that's why i write it like that, don't forget that any words as title of song in other language when they write it in English letters it's logical to be differant a little, it's not Azri language, it's the sound of Azri song title written in English letters, i hope next the company put the title in better way. Thanks
every turk on the eart must listen aziza, we are all proud of her.she is the best turkish jazz musician, and she came to turkey only one time. please come more often
I think it's Oriental Jazz not Turkish, she from Azerbaijan and there they have the same Oriental scales like Turkey and all the Arabs and Middle East.
Dear iybce3, I am a Turk who lives in Baku, and I can assure you that the people of Azerbaijan call themselves "Turk", "One nation with two states" is the famous word of Haydar Aliyev - the state founder. They speak a very close dialect of Anatolian Turkish that I have never needed interpretation. This scales are MUGAM (Traditional Azerbaijani), not Arabic, and what you have is the "Orientalist Ignorance" (Blue stands for Caspian, Red for Turkish nation, Green for Islam in the Azeri flag!!)
I am an Azeri.I agree with iybce3,saying that Azeri ppl are also Turkic, but not Turkish!!
Any Turk person in general is called Turkic.A turk from Azerbaijan is called Azerbaijani Turk,A Turk from Turkey is called Turkish,or not commonly Turkey Turk.Don't confuse the terms!
Our roots are the same, which doesn't make either of us lesser Turk. Second, we are no longer the one nation with two states. Ask your prime minister, president and disrespectful foreign minister why.
Except She is not turkish. She is Azeri. From Azerbaijan. We are no longer the one nation two countries. Ask your Prime Minister, President and very disrespectful foreign minister why.
To anyone liking ethnic jazz, especially from the region, make sure you hear the Georgian Nino Katamadze and the Armenian queen of jazz, Datevik Hovhanisyan. Nino Katamadze is more western, but Datevik Hovhanisyan mostly sings ethnic Armenian jazz. Not sure if Datevik can be found on youtube, but Nino Katamadze does have number of videos here.
No she is an Azeri! Her father is Vagif Mustafa-zadeh. They are from Baku, Azerbaijan. Her father´s house is in the hard of Baku. Now it is a museum. Vagif´s mother was a famous musician too.
Also many azeries have surname ending with -zadeh but it doesnt make them persian :)
Well, I sasked that based on the fact that northern Azerbaijan used to be part of Iran and here's lots of Persians living in Azerbaijan today because of that; therefore, I assumed that she might be persian by ethnicity based on "-zadeh" ending of her last name. But I knew that she's from Azerbaijan, I simply wasn't sure what her ethnicity is.
asa fel de masura sa aibe?pfuuu i love you aziza..you make me to fell a lot of thanks when i hear this ,,,

But both Turks of Azerbaijan and Turkey adopted oriental from arabs and developed their own style of doing it.

@bassking79 no thats not true...arabs and Turks do have common scales but not all of the scales are the same..

Dear Alirizagunay, i think you confuse the word turkish and TURKIC. She is an azerbaijani singer not turkish.
