I've noticed something: The rhythm and the melody of the first 5 notes of the vocal melody in (most of) the verses are very similar to the equivalent part in the song Such great heights by The Postal Service.

It was driving me nuts there for a while when I couldn't remember what song that part reminded me of.

After listening to this song and breaking down crying, i broke up with my boyfriend.

i was holding on to a relationship, that was not working out, i was taken advantage of, and was hopeing one day he'd love me the way i loved him.

the sounds are my favorite band, i love how much of an impact their lyrics can make. i'd advice everyone to see them live, they're amazing.
