I've made 25 by taking the top route. and in a Rom hack, i did it in 17 seconds. I ain't lying about the 17 second one, i have a video as proof :)

Its the european version which ran wayyyyyyyyyyy slower, theres no differnce in how the clock runs tho, its still 25 seconds, fastest ive seen, it was the how it was played just before the end that made it

I've also gotten 25 on one of my better runs. It's not my most common time though, I'd say that's closer to 28. ^^

Why is the music running slower than normal?

I hadn't noticed it was any slower. Though if it is I can only presume it's due to it being ripped from a VHS. If people are doubting that I did this without any trickery then I'll try to figure out a way to demonstrate that I didn't. If I can think of one... Thanks for the feedback anyhow.

The music is slower because it was naturaly that slow on the megadrive/genesis it has only been sped up in compilations

okay, awful qual, there is obviously something to assist your emulator because those jumps were WAY too high!

I did this on an actual megadrive, so no assistance. The quality is low because I taped from the TV and then had a friend rip the tape. It's clear enough for you to tell that I do it in 25.
