No, thats not what I meant. OK, at the beginning he seems to ask "is it me who starts this? But its 4:35, when he makes a gesture towards Danny. What does this mean?
its possible with a special EXPENSIVE bridge lol, but im pretty sure Adam never uses it. he like the gibson silverburst series that they dont sell anymore, but he uses a LP standard for parabola and whatnot
i know adams instrument well i have a les paul 25/50. i was replying to another comment from someone pretending to know what they are talking about. fact is adam controls most of his effects manually and in real time on his fancy roland right arm or a small selection of pedals like the talk box. :D
I guess the main parts on Adams rig, pedalvise is the Equalizer (boss, middle turned way up, always on) The delay (a boss and a line 6 dl4 more recently) an ibanez flange. dunlop wah and the ernie ball volumpedal, mainly used to controll the level of effects, while distortion comes from the amps - controlled with the volum knob. He constanly changes gear tho, and there are more pedals in his rig - but mostly, he manages with the mentioned eqalizer, delay and flange. And The talk box for Jambi!
sick video man.. im glad someone other then me was recording. i had so much freaking trouble recording that night...there was literaly a security guard standing to my left the whole freaking show!!! so annoying and energy solutions wasnt the best venue ever either! but overall amazing show and worth the 12hour drive
Ok? Who the fuck put "OK" ???? 1 hour ago. Matsawsammy, what were you looking for your buddy? Are you Mat looking for Sammy? I was watching the show too. The only part of the show that sucked was when Brigham Young cut the beer flow off during the second song. Those tricky little beehive fucks. But who needs beer when you got Tool?? The visuals were amazing! We were on side where Justin was on bass. We met a guy named Dan who chills with Tool in LA. Did a tat on him.RokOnOrFuckOff!
My favourite tool song. As much as people hate their (old) set list this time around - I'm glad this song is on it. I sure hope they ace it tomorrow night in Toronto.
Hell no!!! that shit doesnt fly we pay alot of money to see them everytime they go out on tour, album, merch, etc . The FANS deserve to here the hits. They should ALWAYS play sober!!! they owe that to the fans. dont get me wrong tool is my favorite band but they should play all the hits!!
You don't have to pay.....If an artist no longer wishes to play a song, why should they? Stay at home and listen to the record....if you want to experience a live show, live with the fact you won't get everything you want. You apply that to thousands of people in a room....you're never going to please everyone. You should always leave wanting more. Nobody should ever have to play a hit...they don't owe you anything...you CHOOSE to be a fan
The only reasson they have the money they do is because of the fans. playing a few of the same hits like "Sober" everytime they play a gig sure isint asking much.
I'd sacrifice a "hit" for certain other album tracks. Like I say, stay at hom and listen to your own set if that's what you're after...I'm after a great show. I'm kinda surprised they still play Stinkfist every night to be honest. I saw Sober every night on the Lateralus tour and I woldn't be surprised if it was ditched out of tedium....I love Sober, but wouldn't we all be agreed it's not the most advanced song. They could just not like it anymore, for all you know. Bring on Flood! :-)
@ Jerredsr no way man screwball82 is right. You arent seeing from the bands side. Im a fan i would prefer to hear all my favorite hits by them but i understand that they they get tired of playing the same songs for years. If you are a true fan you would support your band with their wishes instead. They give you badass music so why complain.
the set list was good cause all of them were really long but yea i would have liked it if they played sober for the closing song because it would just be an awsome way to end the concert
@potofgrass yeah and people bring in weed in those concerts. i was at this concert last year, it was great. they gave out free diet cokes outside afterwards. i dont know why
@potofgrass tickets often say that, but it's usually pretty easy to get things in.
We don't have metal detectors here, but they search bags, though they aren't allowed to touch anything, so you only show them what you want to show them. ;)
based on what I have read, they haven't changed the set list from a few years ago, hope they decide to mix it up a bit tomorrow night a few songs I would love to see live Ticks and Leeches, Aenema, Sober, H, Eulogy
I drove from boise to see this show...INCREDIBLE!!! TooL never disappoints, any more vids? Can you e-mail them to me? What section were you in, it looks very close to the view we had--sect 111 row 19

Is it the same stage as the 2006 10,000 days tour? It looks bigger.
Also how long did they play, 10 songs seems short, but if it was over 2 hours it's fine.

No it is a new set up for the stage show, but yes the set list is kinda short, but they fucking kill it!
