Back then, as a kid, I found out that TALES FROM THE CRYPT was a rather controversial show.

My parents wouldn't let us watch it.

Later, when I saw the parody on TINY TOON ADVENTURES, the said it was OK to watch the parody than the real thing.

Charlie Adler did the voice of Buster in this episode. This was actually his last episode.

John Kassir who voiced the Cryptkeeper did Busters voice for the for the Christmas Special, the SpringBreak Special, and Night Goulery.

Its pretty ironic that Charlie Adler was replaced by the guy he's imitating on this episode.

There's also the fact that The Cryptkeeper himself had his own cartoon (Tales From The Cryptkeeper, produced by DiC) around this time as well, though it aired on CBS (alongside Secrets of The Cryptkeeper's Haunted House, a show that was part Legends of the Hidden Temple mixed with the typical horror found in The Cryptkeeper's general decorum).

@knightmonx -- No, John Kassir voiced the Cryptkeeper..and, briefly, Buster. Charlie Adler had a dispute with WBA and walked, so Kassir filled in for him on the last three episodes. Kassir was also in a football-themed sitcom with Delta Burke and O.J. Simpson, but the less said on that the better.

I remember this episode in finnish dub. I remember how dubbers accidentally messed the audio in the end. Half of Elmyra cartoon didn't have sound and last Buster's quote was original.

I don't think TFTC was really that scary. In atleast 90% of episodes all that really happens is that at least 1 person dies as a result of some kind of mistake, and the death is gruesome, painful and typically disgusting. It's more gore than horror, except for a few scary episodes.

Well I'm pretty sure any of the episodes are scarier than that one movie starring Jada Pinkett Smith. She's a great actress no lie, but the movie itself wasn't scary at all. Somewhat interesting, somewhat cheesy,..maybe too much intentional dark humor in fact. But it won't scary and I'm sure most of the episodes are scarier. And I should re-watch some of them some time.

Ironically enough, when Charlie Adler quit Tiny Toons, John Kassir (the voice of the Cryptkeeper in TFTC), took over as Buster. I'm unsure if that's Kassir or Adler there, however. x3

No in this it's obviously Charlie Adler, you can tell, Adler's voice of Buster was very gravely, while Kassir's was was smooth and didn't have any cracks in his voice.
