  • Magnifique interprétation ...

  • Good work!

  • Josiah, the way you play and present yourself is superb!!!

  • That was amazing! I envy your skills. Please never give up playing and keep up the good work.

  • This was the first time I heard the piece played by piano rather than orchestra and I really enjoyed it! Well played, Josiah! Quite a virtuoso piece too, and you of course as ever rose to the challenge and were visibly enjoying it. Always like the smile towards the camera you give at the end of a performance:)

Did Brahms originally write this piece for piano or is it an arrangement from the original score for orchestra? Anyway superb playing as ever!

  • @tituscaesar Hey old friend. Thanks for your kind words. I believe it was written first for piano by Brahms and orchestrated later by him and others. This is the original Brahms HD #1 as written by him. How is your piano playing going these days?

  • This is lovely! Lovely sonorities, fascinating technique, and great emotion! :)

  • Wow, Josiah, you have experienced remarkable improvement. Your hard work is really showing . I believe you captured the essence of the Hungarian Dance. I can hear Kissin in your approach, but also I hear Josiah. You have a wonderful career ahead of you. Personally, I think it is courageous to post your hard-won efforts on a cyber-venue like this where people who may have dubious motives are able to anonymously strike out.Be comforted by the large number of dislikes on performances by the greats.

  • Wow...Excellent!

  • Great job!
