  • The FA didnt demonstrate the pulling of the toggle in the lifevest. :)) maybe it would inflate :D:)) in some airlines with manual safety demo, they used to pull the toggle without inflating. :D

  • Comment removed

  • Cool :D

  • no,i think they will do the demonstration every monday. Are you flying on monday?

  • What type of plane was this? Airbus? Boeing?

  • Boeing 777

  • so the whote flight no TV to use?

  • i think her demonstration is not bad at all. considering that SQ crew rarely do this demo manually. although all crew are trained to do demo manually in the event of a faulty safety video, it is still not possible to do it perfectly. it is absolutely not disgraceful for SQ as a whole and thumbs up for SQ crew for doing good jobs on boeard every flight. *PEACE*

  • yeah, not bad because she is a leading stewardess cause she wears a green kebaya..im a crew for SQ,,most of the flight we depend on safety video, but i think she is not bad at all

  • your a cabin crew for SIA? may i ask how long is the probation period for a new fss?

  • for new fs/fss probation period, after u finish training 3 months at the academy is 6 months darling

  • Since when does SIA allow their cabin crew to die their hair red?

  • @fuzir hey.. I just wanna ask if, does SQ allows non-singaporean residents for the Cabin Attendant job? in my case, a japanese citizen.

  • A new hire will go through a 4 months training course which is broken down into 7 weeks in Beauty and 8 weeks in Safety. After the new hire graduates, he or she will go into a 6 months probation where they will be monitored monthly by an IFS (Inflight supervisor). After the probation is completed and the new hire meets all standards, they will be given a 5 year contract. Others who fail will either have their probation extended and some just quite because they cant handle the pressure.

  • iam a pilot of SQ

  • Its because SIA has an IFE system that plays the Video. The crew rarely does an actual manual demonstration.

  • A few airlines I took when they performed demonstration, they all don't actually wear the mask on. Just show you strap and pull.

  • I've tried before also on a 744. The screen black out once while en-route. And, SIA actually off its IFEs when it takes off or landing..

but, on my flight, its still on during take off.. except it was switch off onli till a few 100meters off the ground..

but it work perfectly fine on its 773..

  • pls don't disgrace SIA with this lousy demo..

  • Dont be Bias Pinkwaterlily. You really think IFE system does not fail on your proud Thai Airways?

  • lol you sure shut pinkwaterlily up.

  • Some of Thai Airways` aircraft does NOT have IFE

  • exactly, TG is still operating some very old airplanes.

  • At least Singapore airplanes have PTV'S. Most of Thai airways planes doesnt even have PTV'S for safety demonstration.

  • Looks like she doesn't feel like giving the demo...or maybe forgot how??? LOL I hope the company doesn't see this LOL

  • Hi there, just a question, the safety video that day is not working right? That is why there is a demostration?

  • Sorry did not read the video descrpition. Anyway, if that is the case did the ENTIRE KRIS WORLD broke down or you at least get to watch some movies on board?

  • After take-off, they rebooted the entire Krisworld system and it worked fine then, thankfully!

  • i love it when you leave the airport and get ready for takeoff, the whole plane shakes

  • lol. like shes just standing there doing nothing while the words go on.

  • I like the live demo better. Theres no annoying music (lol) and it makes the crew look like they care about your safety more.

  • 100% agree!

  • is it SQ 626 bound for Osaka via BKK? on B777200?

  • Yes its a B777 to BKK and subsequently to Osaka or Tokyo, not sure exactly.

  • think i saw some chinese or in this case kanji.... where is the singlish accent in the announcement??? it's what makes SQ unique

  • Recorded safety information, clearly.

  • SIA aircraft: B777-200.

Quite rare to see this performance. Or atleast I have been in my opinion that Krisworld shows the Safety Video all the time ;)

  • wow did ur IFE come back on later?

n always nice videos look forward to more

  • Yes, they did reset/reboot the system after hitting cruise altitude. Thanks for encouragement!!

  • no problem

ill try to record d cabin of d 777-300ER

    when im on holiday...so exciting

how did u record all these?

  • Sorry Windomes! I did not see the cup holder on the tray table. Only the 777-200 has the cup holder. You were heading to Osaka-Kansai or Tokyo-Narita via Bangkok or direct to Japan right? Cheers!

  • Hi windomes! forgot to add something. I think you were in a 747-400 right as only the jumbo has the screen in front. did you go to Los Angeles or Tokyo on SQ 11 or SQ 12? As i saw some japanese words on the screen telling you your altitude, tailwind etc.Superstar

  • No it is not a 747 it is a 777. Look at the overhead compartments. Look at the door and look at the seat.

  • HI my friend! Xxquiker is right, its a 777. All SQ flights to BKK were full for this urgent trip, so cattle class its fine for a short flight. Got a free upgrade to Biz on return journey.

  • hi windomes. remember me? how come you are taking Economy class? I thought u usually sit in business class?Anyway where were u going and thanks for posting this video! Never seen this on SIA before. Hope to see more videos from you! Superstar :)

  • looks like someone forgot to take her lifevest off.

  • I have never seen broke down PTV on your plane.
