  • What did you think about the prequel of "The Thing"? I quite enjoyed it, a nice retro 80's feel.

  • Shouldn't the Crow be in Comic Book Adaptations?

  • @elfang0r Yep, it is now.

  • They did remake the thing lol and ive seen it.

  • @2345punk1234 Yes well, in 2008 when this video was shot it was far from happening yet. And it was a prequel, not a remake.

  • No Alien Quitrilogy?

  • @aikevanderklok Not when I made this video 4 years ago, no. I got it the following year and did an in depth video about it - watch?v=3XcY6kLScxI Search my videos for Alien and Predator and you can find all the videos I've done about both franchises over the years.

  • I wish they would just do one big box set with all of the Universal Horror films from the Silent Era through the Abbott and Costello Meet Films, or at least put out legacy collections for Phantom of the Opera, the Poe Series and the Abbott and Costello Series

  • @amiriusgaffy What's it about?

  • No Army of Darkness?

  • @Bisbeatle No Army of Darkness THEN. I have since got the Boomstick Edition, along with the Ultimate Edition of the first Evil Dead.

  • @Zaranyzerak Will we see this stuff any time soon? More updates please! lol. =)

  • @Bisbeatle I did several videos about them. Just search my videos for "Evil Dead" and they should pop right up.

  • Be sure to get Without Warning, 1980, J. Palance, M. Landow An unknown classic and basis of Preditor. It's now posted on youtube. Take a look!!!

  • @ Zaranyzerak..Great ol skool horror collections man..Do u have abby? Blacula and Scream,Blacula,Scream? Or Death dream and Tenebre?

  • What is wrong with Interview with a Vampire lol

  • How do you organize your horror movies. I'm curious because I want to organize mine.

  • why don't you have the invisible man or creature from the black lagoon legacy collections?

  • @agentwolfman1 I have all 6 Legacy Collections. I just didn't have the rest wen I did this video over two years ago. Hadn't found them for a good price yet at the time.

  • @Zaranyzerak

How come when ever some one goes on a tirade talking about all the bad films in the night of the living dead saga. The mention the land of the dead remake and the day of the dead remake were they made the head zombie a vegetarian and only had the main bad guy in it for 5 bloody minutes. Every body complains about diary of dead survival a few occasional mention day of the dead 2 cotagium.

  • @Zaranyzerak

but they never bitch about Children of the living dead our the one that they did flight were the zombie effection broke out on a plane. Plus there was that one that never got made were it was like punk rockers that got zombified. That like when they had the horror movie tribute on the oscar a couple years back they said footage from the original little shop of horrors but they ignored the remake.WTF

  • @Zaranyzerak

Even worse the left the most important horror movie of all time the horror movie that caused them to make PG-13 were not included on it. I don't believe show Horror movies are not appreciated anymore. The slasher horror scifi movies are but you look up the non serial killer safe horror movies they have horrible ratings some of them on IMDB.

  • @Zaranyzerak

You don't have creep show 2. Part 3 is horrible they like water it down to much and the effects are horrible. That's what most people say.

  • @Zaranyzerak

My own lady in the water but have watched it most of what M. night Shalom did after signs was considered shit. Especially Avitar the last air bender I don't know what he was thinking doing a non horror movie bad decision. I thought it was okay but ever one else hated it. The cast chinese instead of Japanese people to play the people from the fire nation. Shut up continuity hores this isn't the Joan hex movie

  • No Dead Alive(Braindead)?

  • dude, there should be a stuart gordon section and a david cronenberg section in there. you would like their movies.

  • WHAT!!! NO ''THE SHINING''

  • I enjoy watching your collection, but the lighting was a little dark

  • I'm jealous, i want you evil dead cover.. its brilliant.. i see you have demons 1 and 2..so do i..i bought them for 2 dollars each .. bargain or what lol oh and i bought reanimator for 2 dollars and they were brand new.

  • @JasonsEvilMind It depends. Sometimes I'll group by director if there is a thematic similarity to their work, or if they're a notable "auteur." Hitchcock and Kurosawa would be two that I like to have their own groups, for example. Otherwise, I group by genre and series within those genres. Not sure why that's so confusing...

  • No night of the living dead? how dare you sir?!

  • No night of the living dead? how dare you sir!?

  • @billyhanna420 I have the special edition Laserdisc edition. It has all the same identical content to the Millennium Edition DVD.

  • Great videos m just position your camera still ,

  • @Mastah589 Not for this kind of video. Other videos I use a tripod.

  • SO milllenium is a horror show? I might check it out...the whole first season is in the pawn shop down the street :)

  • @MrMacGrungy Well, it's not purely a horror show but it IS damn scary at times, so I put it there. Murder mystery exposing the darkest, most evil side of man along with supernatural elements at times, in particular to do with the coming of the Apocalypse.

  • dude i love your videos! and i love horror! i really need some advice on starting a horror collection with good movies in it. i have number of movies but they are not that great. im aiming to get a collection of horror movies over the horror film period.

i have nosfurato and a whole bunch of of hammers but i just wanted your opinions on which films are a must have in my collection? :)

    thanks :)

  • Okay, which video do you have it in?

  • @jayjay1184 This one: watch?v=5n31RFPklsM

  • Why don't you have the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre? :|

  • @jayjay1184 I have the Steelbook edition of it. I didn't have it two years ago when this video was shot. There have been nearly 300 update videos since then.

  • hey man. don't bash the paris hilton remake of House of Wax. she dies in it, thus redeeming it.

  • Frankenstein!!

  • remaking the thing? its already a remake of the thing from another world... how stupid.

  • Uzumaki, AKA The Vortex?

  • Hmm....haven't heard it referred to as The Vortex before. Uzumaki means "Spiral."

  • The UK DVD was called "Uzumaki The Vortex" if I remember rightly!

  • Ah, could be! Titles of foreign movies often get changed in different countries. Cool movie, the original manga it's based on is also quite good (and creepy as hell). :)

  • Great channel and nice update.

  • you should get The Silence of the Lambs on dvd or Blu-ray

  • have you got the nightmare on elm street collection?

  • Scroll through the comments a bit, I've answered that question a few times.

  • It was likely an old LD commentary that has been carried over to the DVD edition. You'll hear similar comments on the Nightmare 1 and 7 commentaries. Remember - running commentaries started on Laserdisc long before DVD even existed, so when a new edition of a movie is released, they often carry over the old commentaries while sometimes (but not always) doing new ones. The Thing and Escape from New York ones are also from LD. T2 Ultimate Edition too. And lots more I can't remember atm...

  • coffin joe is some good old horror, kinda racy and crazy tho but great stuff

  • fragile is a horror movie i enjoyed, quite scary

  • Elvira mistress of the dark looks like porn parody

  • Nah, she was a horror movie host in the 80's. Kinda like Vampira back in the day.

  • Day is a bit difficult to find indeed, but I've seen many on good ol eBay. Its a great movie to finish off the original trilogy. Also...have you seen the remake of Night? Directed by Tom Savini and staring Tony Todd as Ben? I think its a great remake...I highly recommend it.

  • Maybe I missed these or you have them now and haven't posted a video but...I see you got Dawn and Land of the Dead. What about Night of the Living Dead and Day of the Dead? Classic flicks...love the original Dead Trilogy. Just curious ;)

  • I have the Elite Edition Laserdisc of Night. Al the exact same content (and the restored version) that's on the Millennium Edition DVD, so I never bothered to get the DVD. Still haven't seen Day, trying to track down the 2-disc special edition.

  • I had all 7 Nightmare movies on Laserdisc, and still have several of them. I used to have most of the Halloween movies on VHS, just never got around to re-buying them on DVD yet. I was never a big fan of the Friday the 13th movies, haven't even seen most of them. I'll get all of the above at some point, at this point I'll likely just wait for decent Blu-ray re-releases.

  • What about the Saw movies? Or at least the first one.

  • woops, I didn't notice you had zombi 2, sorry about my previous comment, when I said you should get zombie!

  • Lol! Quite alright, I think a few people have said the same thing...hehehe. I REALLY want to get The Beyond, but I'd like to get my hands on that Limited Edition tin edition that came out a while back. Hard to find these days...

  • well you could buy the grindhouse releasing of the beyond, that has great features as well! anyways is city of the living dead, worth buying?

  • have you seen that film shrooms. it sucks so bad

  • dude, you should get zombie and the beyond those are great Fulci films as well, but the house by the cemetery is one of my favourite Lucio Fulci films

  • another tv show that is real good is tales of the unexpected.

  • i think you should watch hammer house of horror tv series i think you will enjoy those a lot.

  • I actually taped all of them off a TV marathon back in the 80's. Awesome show! I really need to get the DVD set...

  • Totally. The last thing I want to see is a CG mess trying to pass itself off as The Thing...

  • How come you don't have Halloween? To me, both the original and the remake are tied for my favorite horror film of all time. But if you ever get around to buying them, get any version of the original and get either the theatrical version of the remake or the 2 disc Blu-ray with the 4hr+ documentary on the making of the film, but I recommed to get the theatrical version because it's the better version of the movie, I wish I had it.

  • Because I've owned Halloween several times over in the past and wanted to get some other stuff before I bought 'em all yet again. :) Ditto Nightmare on Elm Street, for which I still have some of my Laserdiscs. Thanks for the info!
