One of the best story and gameplay. Ys is the best RPG game on PSP I've ever played. Crisis Core is good but is too short by camparison while Disiddia is bad and felt like your in a Hollow world.

@artmiss7 first one is ys1 lulz ys1 and 2 are available on the ds believe me you want those ones the ones that were originally release are crap ys the ark of naphishtim is game 3 a re imagining of ys 3 in 3d oath in felghana takes place right after ys ark of naphishtim ys seven i have never played but it deviates to much from the original game play and difficulty btw if your not playing oath in felghana on the pc you will not have fun with it, its way to easy on the psp

@artmiss7 Np i completely forgot about this i posted it at like 4am lol and yea pick up 1&2 first theyre pretty good but you have to save a shit ton b/c if you die it puts you back at the intro screen after you beat 1&2 get the ark of naphishtim, if you can find it its for the ps2 and pc i dont know what other systems it may be on, btw this guy has the games orders wrong its ark of naphishtim then oath in felghana

The snes version of ys 3 is the best. The psp/pc felghana remake comes in as a distant 2nd.

I picked up Ys Seven and I have to say... I was disappointed with the 3 party system and limited control of the party. It was messy to see what was going on during battle! Not what I was expecting. I like fast pace, like Ys:AoN(except for the crappy load times). Ys7 could have been better, cleaner, more strategic. Ys:The Oath in Felghana definitley looks more like the Ys that I know and like! I would wait for Ys:TOIF to come out and PASS on Ys:7

@JamesQuallLovesPSP I thought the same thing about the party options could have been better like Tales(radiant mythology) has a solid party system. Give this game a chance it's not that bad. It's actually pretty good! ys oath does look great, can't wait!

I just cant see the controls being very good for this game on the PSP. I would recommend one get the PC XP version of the game and use the English Fan translation for it. One needs a PS2 type controller for this game

@Adol666 I believe you can customize the controls in Oath. Not sure though because I didn't need to, they were fine the way they were.

I haven't played it in a while so I'll check once my sister gets home with the psp.

@ysorigin1 - I can confirm that it does - but you can actually select the old-school Ys III soundtracks instead, if you don't like the PC version soundtrack. There are three different soundtracks included, and you can change them on the fly.

I missed out importing the pc version of oath in felghana.Since the game went out of print mark and it does have a english patch as well.At least the psp version is making it here i've heard it is a realy good remake of Ys 3.
