name of the modem is ambit, but the name was changed to  Ubee.. so you might have one, but with different names.. either way they are the same device

hey man my modem wasnt recieving signal i called twc for assistance they sucked the told me i need a new modem so i knew i need it to get to settings so ur video helped to get ther the password and user name i fixed it and runs like a champ or surfs ehehe w/e

ok i just got in to my modem so thanks for your help!!!! however therewere no options to port forward wich was what i wanted to do (was cross referencing) dont suppose any1 has info? does it mean i dont need to port forward? do i need to sort out my firewall instead?! ive been told lots of different things.

ok ive been trying to get into my modem for days as i neeeed to port forward however all i got from copying my ip into the adress bar was not found!!!! ok now ive got a virgin media screen up & theres an option to log in. however the username & pwd u gave (admin/cableroot) doesnt work. on the page it says the pwd is just "root" however cant see a username. help!!!!!

don't know if it's faster, but I sure as hell hope it's more reliable, i've had to reset that modem WAY too many times. I guess it seems more responsive though(might be the placebo effect), so thanks man.

Worked on my Ambit U10C108. I use a Vonage phone, and could not keep my connection. Now it works all the time.

Hacking of a cable modem is illegal and you will lose your cable services. this is not a hack but more of a refresh for cable modems.. Clearing the log clears history of the modem making it boot up faster and more of a steady Connection possibly over the speed limit...

this is not in anyway a hack. your cable company can simply do this over the phone if you just ask them to. Plus there is no way you would see a noticable difference in speed if your connection is above 3mbps to begin with. atleast you got the default passwords correct
