  • oh my god! that part in the beginning is kinda creepy.I was just about to piss my pants.

  • Unforseen Encounter is after this one

  • And then cortana screams wake up John !

  • and now finally halo 4 we will find out who`s with me

  • @amarath84 no one xD

  • @xreconshadowx1 hahaha thats true im just glad the chief is back and trigger happy

  • @amarath84 yeah! halo 4! and halo ce FUCK YOU BUNGIE! HELO 343! :D

  • @xreconshadowx1 hell yeah 343 FTW

  • @xreconshadowx1 343 and Bungie is the same. Just people from bungie moved to 343

  • @IGCommanderAlexander Why does everyone keep saying that? It's not true at all. There are only 2 former Bungie employees working at 343, which is like a company of like 100 people.

    Bungie =/= 343

  • @zero46t I think there's a few more than two. While it's certainly not a majority, several Bungie employees jumped ship to 343. However, Frank O'Connor is one of those employees, which is critical to the Halo story. He was one of the chief players behind Halo:CE.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 Go to Halo.wikia.com and type in 343 industries, it gives a list of employees and what former company they were with. If you look through the list you'll find Frankie (who by the way was a community director and nothing to do with the actual development of the first three Halo games) and you'll also find one other guy who did some contract work for Bungie. That's it. Halo is in the hands of complete strangers.

  • @zero46t However, I don't recall my source so I can't give it to you, but he was involved in the Halo:CE story arc. Or so I remember reading.

  • @zero46t No Frankie is the leader, even though he is not in charge of the development he controls the team and he knows what the community likes.

  • @zero46t And remember, 343 industries is comprised of many halo fans. So, the game is in the hands of the fans and the director of CE. Cheers.

  • @merchent343 Whatever you need to tell yourself...

  • @zero46t Plus, Frankie did a lot of work for Halo: CE.

  • @merchent343 I thought Frankie came in at Halo 2?

  • @xMcCarthee Halo: CE

  • @zero46t give em a chance

  • LOLZ gives me goosebumps LOLZ!

  • Whenever the "Halo 4" game comes out, I honestly wouldn't care about multiplayer. This one song is just making me foam at the mouth, wondering what happened to the Chief!

  • @tacospartan I belive that Halo 4 comes out around 2013 to 2020, thats if it is!

  • @nnSharkBaitnn bungie already said there not making halo games anymore. However, if they were it would be decmber 21st 2012 or the end of the world.

  • @suckmeballsalot you do know that the last halo game that BUNGIE was making was halo reach and that microsoft 343 indistries would be making them instead of BUNGIE after reach.

  • @RECONR117 yes, but keep in mind that with a different company everythings goin to change even if they do make a halo 4. I would like to see the halo series (with master chief) continue but I'm thinking if they do make more halo games they'll probably branch off to something without master chief. Who knows though, maybe they'll suprise me with another good halo game with the chief. Only the future can tell.

  • @suckmeballsalot No, they've already confirmed they'll continue Master Chief's story. They confirmed that some time ago at a conference during Reach's production.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 Bad ass, I didn't know that. Hopefully they don't comlpetely change the game into something else with the chief still in it. I wouldn't think they would but I don't know if the people at the head of 343 studios want to make sure that people know it's a 343 game. As far as it coming out at all though, I can't wait!

  • @suckmeballsalot I don't know exactly if it'll beg their first game, but they did say they'll at least continue his story. However, they've got Frank O'Connor, one of the best original storytellers from Bungie during Halo's golden age- Hopefully he can keep us going down the right path!

  • @MCPOSpartan046 I'm thinking Halo 4 is dead set to be an excellent addition to the series. The only exception being if they have a virus go through their computers and they to write the game from scratch or if someone in charge decides to make it into a game about a marine who goes on road trip to lose his virginity lol.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 Frank didn't even work on Halo's story, Frank was all about the community.

  • @TBEClanMovies He was primarily a community writer, but had a hand in developing ideas surrounding the story.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 Never heard of that, care to link me to some proof?

  • @TBEClanMovies I should-if I could-I would, but I don't remember whether it was reading a BWU, a piece of text written by Eric Nylund or some other author alluding to his help he received from bungie, or what have you. I do believe it was directed towards the development of one of the books, and there was some mention of Frankie having a hand in maintaining what the story could cover.

It's your choice not to believe me, and that's fine ^_^ I honestly don't have the source, my apologies.

  • 0:22 Umm does something standing right behindme o.O?

  • That was ugh....scary

  • "What the f**k is that?!?!" IGN.com

  • That is without a doubt the most horrifying piece of soundtrack I've ever heard. So full of eery anticipation, it leaves me very interested in what the new Halo game is going to look like. I say: back to the roots! I found that Halo 1 generally feels the same as the feeling that this soundtrack evokes. And that is mystery, being alone.

  • just as 0:22 started, me and my brother were like frozen, then i made this scray groowl and he freaked

  • forerunners went into war against humanity in the book halo cryptum:the forerunner saga. it lets u know everything bout the foreunners

  • @KrumpMastaTaz i thought forunners were humans or at least cousins of some sort?

  • @gears6515 Fore-runners were an alien race that saw themselves responsible for taking care of the races of the universe. They left that mantle to humanity when they build the rings and fired them.

  • @MrTestMusic They selected us as the most appropriate race to take over, we were an unbiased race who aren't easily mislead by an authorative figure (AKA, the Covenant Heirarchs)

  • @Rexhunterj Precisely. They knew we would be the best fitting species for the job.

  • @Rexhunterj Haha, apparantly they picked us because A) Our race figured out how to destroy the Flood- the Forerunners never did. B) They didn't realize why we were moving into their part of the Galaxy when they chose to destroy us in a war. C) We're a very capable race even when stripped of all techological assets and forced to devolve until we're at the level of the caveman, thus forcing us to evolve again and become the Reclaimers we were meant to be.

  • eh, not sure about that. the forerunners picked the Human race because they planted the portal on Earth. There was no way they could've known we were gonna be able to kill the flood again, because they had already done that with the first firing of the Halo rings (also sacrificing themselves).

  • @tacospartan Nope, think again. What I just said is confirmed canon- it's a book called Halo: Cryptum.

  • @tacospartan Also, that was desperation. They never knew how to defeat the Flood. Never found out. Humanity's original empire, however, did.

  • Yes they DID know how to kill the Flood, they were the friggen Forerunners! They had fired the Halo rings once before Master Chief and the Covenant came to be. And what's "Humanity's original empire"? That sounds like BC times.

  • @tacospartan .....Fail. No, the Forerunners DIDN'T know how to stop the Flood. Why do you think they did something as desperate as activate the Halos? They KNEW that wouldn't permanently wipe out the Flood either, and it was the highest violation of the Mantle they followed. The previous galaxy-spanning empire of humanity, however, figured out how to defeat the Flood- they ENCOUNTERED the Flood FIRST. We ended up in a 2-front war with the Flood and Forerunners.

  • @tacospartan You really need to read Halo Cryptum. It's set in the age of the Forerunners after they beat down humanity in the Human-Forerunner War. It's also during the punultimate hours leading up to the rearrival of the rampant Mendicant Bias.

Trust me, everything I'm saying is right.. because it's in that book. Humans knew how to beat the Flood. Forerunners didn't. So the Forerunners tried to forestall them long enough with the Array.

  • Ok well I didn't consider that. Never heard of it. Looked it up on Amazon and quite frankly, i wouldn't be interested in reading it because it sounds fairytale-ish. no shooting action or anything. I still wouldn't consider it because it's too recent, and to unbelievable. A human-forerunner war sounds stupid, imo

  • @tacospartan It's written by one of the best sci-fi writers alive, currently. There isn't tooooo terribly much action, because it's setting things up for the next two books in the Forerunner series.

Honestly, I was surprised at first too. But once you read it and understand, it's much better than you'd think. EIther way, I enjoyed the book and it's a good addition to the canon. Plus, it helps you understand the turmoil of the Forerunners and the poewr of other races at the time.

  • @tacospartan yeah but I'm sure you once said "microsoft coming out with a gaming console? Sounds stupid imo".......

  • 0:22

Why do I get the feeling like something horrible is about to happen?

    Don't look behind you... O_o

  • *shivers* i sat in the fucking dark, head phones in, voloume to the max, and fuck me i shat my boxers :( lol

  • Are the forerunners really that scary?!? Probably going to a planet where hunters were born. JK probably going to where he started fighting the covenant

  • @stickman1Xproduction It appears to actually be a Forerunner planet. And the new book proves that humans and Forerunners are VERY much alike. Forerunners just happened to be better with technology.

  • ALIENS

    FROM

    SPACE.

    HOLY BEJESUS.

  • I read a comment on another video saying the planet looked like cybertron.

    (Interesting opinion, am i right?)

  • THANKS, FOR, THE, NIGHTMARES

  • @FluffyChicken45711 your not alone buddy xDDDDDDDD

  • @FluffyChicken45711 OMFG you became a super sayan!

  • @FluffyChicken45711 Lol, shiver down my spine XD

  • And then the classic trumpet fanfare from halo 3 goes DUN*DUN*DUNNNN*.....DUN-DUN!!!

  • God this sends shivers right through my body...

  • I'm scared...

  • i love this song. pure genius! oh and IT WAS NOT REACH! the planet looks of Forerunner origin, look it up on bungie.net or wikia or something. and yes, it is likely the forerunner home planet

  • @MiyazakiKnight that planet is Onyx there is a book that takes place after halo 3 and that book is it. But you were correct it does have to do with the forerunners and an ancient force that i will not tell you but that is because i want you to read the book.

  • @odstfan100 ive been meanin to read em. thx ;)

  • didnt Onyx get destroyed or something?

  • @Hazedragon97 nope :P...Fred, Linda, Kelly, Jun (I think) and some other spartan-III's, and Halsey are all in there still :3

  • @odstfan100 You're wrong, son. So very dead wrong. Ghosts of Onyx takes place partway through Halo 2 and Halo 3. The planet was destroyed in the end of it. Only a microcosm INSIDE slipspace was left. You can't just access slipspace in a half severed ship.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 ok, ok I wrote that comment when i did not finish the book so i might have been wrong on some parts

  • @odstfan100 Haha okay :P Just a tip- don't tell people what you think it is if you haven't finished reading through the evidence you're citing :P

  • @MCPOSpartan046 ya i can be a moron sometimes haha

  • Hmmmm this sounds pretty good *gets to 0:22* :[]

  • its not onyx, onyx was destroyed when the portal closed, only its core remains. its likely either just a random planet bungie put in or more likely its the forerunners home planet. In Halo legends the forerunners planet looks alot like it. just a guess, no one actaully knows

  • 0:22 HOLD ME MOMMY!!!

  • that was creepy.....

  • @Sharkfinish hahahahahahaha.

  • 0:23 to 0:33 gives me goosebumps.

    *Shivers*

  • i play this song during sex

  • @kerioken who doesnt? ;D

  • i hope the reach's legendairy ened explains this ending but it proably wont

  • ... I think it's the forerunners.

  • What planet are they going to tell me please?

  • @braindeadguild Its not a planet.. Its another Ring

  • @GreenIInk No it's not.... I personally think it is one of the fore-runner shield worlds.

  • @STNexpert Yeah your personal opinion. Just listen to what you just said..wow.

  • @GreenIInk There's many other things it could be Fore-Runner homeworld or Reach. I just think it's most likely a shield world.

  • @GreenIInk Lol dude its not a personal opinion, if you're talking about the cutscene you can see its a planet.

  • @skullkid325 Alright 1. I wasn't talking to you. 2. If you read his comment carefully especially when he says "I [personally] think.." 3. Hints personal opinion. Everyone has a different opinion.

  • @GreenIInk its a planet you tard its onyx

  • @hackisucker No really?! dumbass

  • @GreenIInk you said it was ring u dumbass

  • @hackisucker onyx is a giant desert planet, that planet he landed on has a giant fucking seventh column on it

  • @marcoffs95 I thought Onyx was a Pokemon.

  • @braindeadguild Onyx its a forerunner planet.

  • @odstfan100 No, it's not confirmed as anything. There are many rumors as to what the planet could be, but none have been stated as fact.

  • Look, theres reach! Ohhh sht, we're gonna crash!!

  • @Bulbasaurdude That is not reach....

  • @dieseld0g Really? Oh crap, i guess i made myself look like an ass now...

  • @dieseld0g You don't know that, only Bungie knows what planet that is. xP

That planet could be Reach, or it could be Threshold, or maybe even Onix.

    Or even a new planet.

  • @gaiance Onyx was destroyed and has billions of sentinels that will kill anything that comes near where it was... No sentinels here... Reach got glassed and Has no atmosphere, yet in this video you can clearly see structures and light, And if you watch Halo Legends Origins, It shows that the planet is the Forerunner Homeworld, SO please, learn what you are talking about before you comment.

  • @TBEClanMovies I read the book for Onyx, and nowhere in the book did it say Onyx was destroyed. Just a rather large explosion occurred on it. And it wouldn't make sense that it was destroyed anyways considering there are a number of people trapped in the center of it.

And since MC went through the space time rift, that very well COULD be Reach, because space time rifts are so very unpredictable, it could very well have sent him back in time.

You sure you know what YOU'RE talking about?

  • @gaiance No, The people are trapped in a Dyson Sphere, Which is Phased Between our Reality and Slipspace, The Explosion caused Onyx ( Which is made up of millions of sentinels who Broke apart ) To basicly be destroyed since the Sentinels Are no longer Connected. And if that is Reach explain Where the ODP's are ? The surrounding Planet ? The Reach Fleet ? Explain why It has Marathon, 7th Collum and Forerunner symbols on it ?

  • @TBEClanMovies First of all, I haven't seen Halo Legends. Nor do I really care to.

But Halo is a piece of Sci-Fi, anything is possible, even time travel.

Also the Dyson Sphere being phased between our reality and slipspace helps prove my case even more. Since MC was caught right in the slipspace blast, it's very possible he could have gotten caught in that same place.

Hell, he's been there before in First Strike, if I remember correctly.

So it may not be Onyx, but instead the Dyson Sphere.

  • @gaiance The dysonsphere would be so small you couldnt see it, It huge on the inside and Impossibly tiny on the outside, Look up the dyson sphere ?

  • @gaiance Just so you know, The Micro Dyson Sphere was only meters in size, Not a whole planet.

  • @TBEClanMovies Also at the Reach part, you never know, he could have been blasted to a point before the planet was very much colonized, if at all.

And the Forerunner symbols would be explained by it being the Dyson Sphere created by the Forerunners. ;P

  • @gaiance Reach before it colonized ? Yet it has structures and lights..... And the dyson sphere is not that visible, Even if it was where are the sentinels that would be attacking him ? This has been proven to be the forerunner homeworld, Seriously, Would people stop making up theorys on what it is when we have already been told.

  • @TBEClanMovies I went and watched Halo Legends, and it said nothing of that being the Forerunner home world, it mentioned a Forerunner world, but not that what he was heading towards was one.

Also, it's possible MC shrunk and the dyson sphere looks like a planet.

I'm not trying to make up theories, I'm simply saying that ANYTHING is possible. Especially knowing what Bungie is capable of.

Also who's to say that Reach wasn't the Forerunner home world? xP

  • @gaiance Which episode did you watch ? Also IT IS NOT REACH, SHIT, GO ASK ON B.NET, And when its been proven what it is then "Anything" is not possible.

  • @TBEClanMovies I watched all the episodes.

And even if it has been proven, anything is still possible. Ever hear of a twist in the plot? xD

    This is fun. ;P

  • @gaiance IT might be the Death star LOL :D

  • @gaiance Explain Why in Halo Legends they say it is the Forerunner Homeworld, Explain to me why Timetravel is not possible, Explain to me why they have already proved what planet this is.... Look this stuff up ? Please ?

  • meh.

  • xtreme goosebumps at 0:25

  • Everyone who keeps insisting it's Onyx...that's impossible. The planet /collapsed/ upon itself. It was made up of Sentinels. The Dyson sphere inside is /within/ slipspace if I remember correctly...or in a void between. But the physical, normal space planet itself...is no longer existing.

However, the creepy string ending to this piece definitely feels like a, "You just entered Hell." warning.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 I think it could be another Halo ring, like in The Forgotten Spartans.

  • @Seano299 Nah, it's definitely a planet. It has all sorts of symbols and such on the surface... try to brighten your screen and look very carefully at it. It's definitely a planet.

  • @MCPOSpartan046 If you ever watch Halo Legends, it bears a striking resemblance to the Forerunner homeworld...I could be wrong though

  • @DominionDemon I find myself agreeing with you there. It seems most plausible.

  • @glok6 Final Fantasy 7.

  • At first you are thinking "Wow this is cool" then 0:21 comes in and it seems like some trailer for "The Grudge".

  • Master Chief is now on onyx...

  • @NixonTech2071 we dont actually know that >.,<

  • @creapsmantic

    It's most likely Onyx...

  • bungie acts like they never made this part or that no one ever saw it when they say that Halo Reach is their last halo game. i just hope to god they dont let anyone else mess with the series. we all know the travesty that is Halo Wars. some of you might say it was fun, but it just wasnt halo.

  • @ENRAGEDAustin11

They do that cuz they said a book was beeing made about it...A BOOK FOR GODS SAKE WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!

  • @Poitu280 one book? there are six, and they're actually fairly good. (though I've only read the first three, I'm hoping to get the rest for my birthday)

  • @quila001 I know ive read them all but what im saying is that they're amking a book about what happened after The Ark.

  • @Poitu280 really? I didn't know that I must find it.

  • wake me.... when you need me...

  • This reminds me of the music from Lost.

  • this song is awsome but you know its about war lol
