  • @ThatOneGirl985 that loom is perfect for adult hats or a smaller gauge flat panel versus the other circle looms. I do sell a newsboy pattern on Etsy for that loom though and have a visor video on YouTube for it as well. Have a great weekend! Happy Looming!

  • @ThatOneGirl985 in theory the cast on is one third the peg number so 16 should be good for you but you could try 18 to be more generous. The 30 rows I'm not sure about. It's more of what length you need to stretch across the entire loom. The width is to then stretch across the sides. I haven't tried that loom on the bag so this is just my guess on the fly. I hope that helps!

  • @GoodKnitKisses I'll let you know how it turns out, thanks for your help. Your videos make it very easy to follow. I was given the loom as a gift and have not found many patterns for the round purple loom, so it'll be interesting to see what I come up with.

  • I have the 48 peg purple round loom, and I am wondering what differences in rows and initial e-wraps for the base would be. Do you have any suggestions? I tried to do sixteen pegs and 30 rows, but it just didn't seem right, so any help would be great.

  • Would plarn work ok for this bag?

  • @dancergirl26 Sure!

  • I had been wanting to do something like this with wire. Thanks!

  • Thank you for such great tutorials!!!

  • @sagehoney2000 thanks! -Kristen

  • Good class, thank you so much.

  • @iLovePie8320 you can get a loom at walmart, JoAnn fabics, Michael's, Ac Moore, Hobby Lobby stores & their online stores & cutratecrafts online store. I'm sure there are some I've missed. Try searching for "Knitting Loom" or knitting board or loom knit. They come in many different sizes and shapes. My round set had 4 and my long loom set had four different loom sizes in it. Provocrafts and Boye are good to search for to start you off. There are also wooden looms with a finer gauge. -Kristen

  • where can you get a loom?????

  • @iLovePie8320 u can also find looms on Amazon.com & ebay.com

  • @GreyWolfEyes1222 Thanks for the help Piper! -Kristen

  • I made one on the 24 peg loom. I just did 14/16 ew on the flat panel, then what u did. Thx for the great bag idea. :)

  • @ruddog08 Wonderful! I'd love to see a pic on our Facebook fan site!

  • Oh, also, thanks for all the great loom videos

  • @ruddog08 You're welcome, thanks for watching!

  • Can I do this on a smaller loom? Do you have the ratio I should/could use?

  • @ruddog08 I'm glad you figured it out I'm sorry i was out of pocket for a while to respond.

  • can i use red heart wool for this project ?

  • @Stephy27Pooh I haven't tried it with the wool. It's meant as a meshy beach bag and can be washed and dried. A wool would felt if you put it in the dryer. However I suppose you could line dry it. You can use the bag however you like or with whatever materials. If you do choose the wool remember to use more than one strand or it will be even more of a mesh, unless that's what you want. However two strands would be strongest. Have fun above all. Happy Looming!! -Kristen
