  • drunk pigeon? or to many drugs?

  • Pigeon: "I ain't scared of no falcon!"

  • the thing is.

even if the peregrine came back and the pigeon was still there.

the peregrine is unlikely to get it while its on the actual building.

peregrines dont actually bind to there prey.

they hit it with both there feet.

    (like punching)

then the either pick it up from the ground or catch it in the air.

as long as the pigeon was on the building the peregrine is unlikely to be able to grab it because it prefers to hit flying quarry where it has no threat of slamming into a wall :)

  • the pigeon came to gain spritiuality by eating the remains of his dead ancestors

  • @binashraf lol thats funny

  • He He! well done the wee pigeon.

  • LOL! Perhaps pigeons have suicidal tendencies, too! I mean, of all places birds can fly, why do they always manage to find my windshield in the middle of the country???

  • aint pigeons that shit on your windshield... unless you have dna proof of course, of all the birds in the world... how can you be so sure?

  • Nah, I mean birds in general. Along the parkway which is the route to my house, it is a giant wide open country space. They still manage to fly in front of my windshield and go smack! Most of the time they are gold finches.

(I meant the birds themselves hit my windshield, not poop. LOL! Sorry for the confusion.)

  • lol what a legend

  • Lol.

  • shucks, I was hoping to see a falcon take on that flying rat.

  • the only reason it would eat that would be if it had strolled on a breeding or feeding site like there or if they had nothing else they tend to take on the good racing pigeons and songbirds

  • well it should take u

  • @valyman thats right vermin eats rats

  • Hi Guys

Sorry if this clip looks really dull to you. But for 3 months a pair of peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus) nested on this ledge and raised two young chicks there. Peregrine falcons eat pigeons and many other species of bird. So seeing a pigeon on this ledge was rather a surprise to us. It looked like it had a death wish! Ok, interesting to some, but not to others.
