@RHCP1794 Well, a prequel would actually work. We could see Cob's occupation, and there would be some pretty interesting scenes as we see him perform extractions. Considering the dreamlike surrealism Inception makes, seeing it again in a different form would be really refreshing. Perhaps the plot could be centered around how he met Mal? Perhaps during one of his extractions, ect.

Cobb is a criminal hired to perform one last job, he assembles a crackpot team of experts, and commits a heist (of the mind). Like most other heist films, they spend the majority of the film preparing for the robbery, during the robbery things go wrong, and the protagonist has to deal with his personal demons along the way.
