Now in all honesty, and when you say stock im assuming no motor modifications at all including the exhaust system and stock gearing, 72-76 mph is a very respectable top speed for a banshee that is all stock. my 82 atc 250r tops around 65 but has lots of power and with gearing changes im sure i could reach 75 no problem and still have good power. mine has been ported, bigger carb, k&n filter, reed spacer, dg cool head, and dg pipe and silencer with stock gearing. has plenty of power to spare
@allater3 The 250R has been sitting on a shelf for the past few months... I haven't had time to work on it :( As for the Banshee, it's been ROCK SOLID. Only problem was where the exhausts mount to the front of the frame - they apparently are notorious for failing, and so did mine. A couple bolts fixed that problem :)
@xhumeka Yea that's nothing, couple bolts. My freind had a '96 banshee and its a basket case haha, but thats nice. And that sucks bout the 250r =/ im looking for a new bike myself and just have no money so its not fun haha
niceee a banshee hitting 120 + is considered powerful and healthy im talking stock of corse

Couple of questions: How's the pumper 250 coming? And have you ever have to fix anything on the banshee?
