The buds are the pointy things and they hurt as hell, it will hurt for a couple of years cause they are growing. Mine hurt from 12 which i was still a wall - flat but starting....until i was 16 years old. And 17 to 19 it was still growing but didn't feel pain.

It's happening because girls have higher weight at younger ages, not because of hormones in milk. Weight is the major trigger to start puberty, which is why ballerinas may not hit puberty until they stop performing. They have found in real studies, not just scare mongering popular articles, that milk does not have so much hormone that it affects puberty age. Milk has hormones, just like all meat and all products that come from animals. Oh and this story IS in the major media. Learn to learn.

i started developing breast in 3rd grade i drank milk alot like everyday or when ever i was thirsty and i got my period when i was 10 and im 11 now with a 34D cup size not the huge d size the real d size i feel very insucure because all my friends are flat or have smaller boobs than me and at school alot of boys look at me when i have my jacket off...thats why i always wear baggy jackets...even on hot days/.....

Not all girls have early puberty. Some girls are even late, such as yourself. No worries. It will come in due time. It's probably your genes. Ask you'r mother or father if they were late bloomers. If they were, then there's probably nothing to worry about.

Its not normal. 12 to 14 years is the normal age to start a period ask your doctor! Your body is aging faster then your age..you should talk to your mother about it! You won't go as tall, thats so sad that at 9 or 10? wow, years go this never used to happen!

@rosebud19999 Well your 11 and you didn't start your period yet.thats great and its normal. 11 is still very young, most girls don't start until their 12 or 13 anyways. You are starting to show signs thats normal. when I was 11 I didn't have boobs or anything, some girls don't . I'd talk to your mother and have her take you to the doctor to get checked out. Exerice & and eat healthy. U have nothing to worry about, its not like you got ur period at 9,10,11 thats when we worry, b/c of growth
