fuck Houston, for one it's too fucking hot to even call it good weather, and the illegals have taken over that motherfucker! They outnumber everyone in Houston. It looks every bit like Mexico there, and most can't speak a bit of english.
@bigtown I agree with you that Houston is crazy-hot! I lived there for a year and a half and visit often. I was fortunate to learn Spanish fluently while I was there and got to know many amazing immigrant families that I consider to be my own family now. I understand that are some frustrating aspects to immigration, but I think it would be wise if we all really got to know these people and understood their situations. English is harder to learn than Spanish, and Spanish wasn't easy. Take care.
@91latinking actualy its quite large. also we dont have the 20 million people you do. houstons layout is spread out into multiple downtowns. if it were all in the same place it would resimble chicago and new york. but houston resembals more closely cities in asia as far as layout goes.
@nt7237 so is New York we have the Manhaten island skyline and that one alone is bigger than Houstons downtown not counting the brooklyn, bronx, hells kitchen, washingon hieghts and Harlem... new york city is spread out too
@91latinking like i said we also dont have 20+ million people so.... i would think that its because houston is a new city. unlike new york wich has been here for ages lol
@nt7237 but i thought you said if it was all together it would resemble NY skyline HELL NO it wouldnt houstons downtown is tiny my moms lives in houston n i visit her you can see the whole downtown when headed north from pearl land and that shit is nothing compared to when your coming from stanten island into queens look at this video just look at the massive difference between NY and Houston watch?v=dZwGJIEWo7M&feature=related
@91latinking and thats the key word.... IF..... and they arent so you can chill the new yorker ego man i never said it could beat manhatten. the two are uncomperable. all i said was that if it was all together it would resemble them.
jeeze its not like im dissin the nyc or nothing. i love that city, been ther alot, my grandperants live there. i still wish all of houstons skylines were all together though... but thats what happens when you get no zoning.
@nt7237 i dont hate houston either one thing houston does have on New York is that the people are so kind in houston we New Yorkers can be assholes sum times lol sorry i got a little on the defensive side lets just agree that both of our cities have their goods and bads
@nt7237 lol yea both cities are great i love that Houston doesnt really feel like a busy buzzing city you kno what i mean thats one of my favorite thing that i like about going to Houston im going down this summer as a matter of fact lol
@91latinking ya totaly lol altho traffic on i10 is terrible ( moltly cuz our mass transit system sucks) but i think thats one of the thinks i like about the nyc. its so dense and buzzing with everything that says city. i think i like it alot because it reminds me of tokyo. i visited there for a month and was amazed at all the peopl. But of corse i gre up in the country, i remember when i thought kansas city was big lol and when youre down here you might want to bring a personal air conditioner
@nt7237 lol oh yea Definitly houston is so hot and humid i remember when i was about 10 years old me and all my cuzins would go to splashtown just to cool off lol. i live in the Bronx and i like the city life and all but man one thing i wouldnt miss besides all the traffic lol is the sirens of the fire trucks and police sirens at night Man those things sound loud they wake me up all the time lol ive never bin to any city out of the U.S except for San Juan P.R.
@RefreshChannel Snow??? yo son ive bin to Houston and LA i have neva seen it snow so what ae you talking about stop watchin tha day after tommorow lol jk
@91latinking it has snowed dude. go to houston in winter, there is atleast one day when the water freezes or its snowing. you have to live here to see it, or be lucky enough to be at that exact 1-3 days in winter. l.a dont snow im pretty sure.
D O W N T O W N - H O U S T O N is only 1 of Houstons' 9 Skylines. The people are in the tunnel that connects to more than 70 bldgs. Tex Med Ctr, Greenwayplaza, Greenspoint, Uptown alone is the size of Atlantas' 2 skyls, Westchase, Westlake, Brookhollow, and The Woodlands are the other ones. Go to the top of any bldg and the view gives New York. Founded by 2 New Yorkers the Allen Brothers Houston is New York Of the South.
You´re absolutely right - where the hell is everybody!? I mean this is one of the biggest cities in the U.S, the fourth biggest as I recall, and yet the streets look like Battery Park after dark in N.Y. The buildings and all look truly amazing but I´m puzzled by the lack of stores and people. Is downtown Houston purely a place of business or?.......
@9cx altho it may seam empty, its actualy packed. everybody is in the tunnels. its like a giant underground mall that connects all the buildings in downtown. sometimes on my way to works i can barely walk in there.
I live in houston, it SUCKS! There's a reason why nobody goes to Houston for vacations and movies never take place in or mention Houston.
