  • what a joke... just some guys bashing thru a cover chord version, no finesse, overdoing it, still a good song tho.

  • 'She Loves You' was recorded in '63. This sounds like a Rickenbacker 12 string to me..

The second Rick 12 string ever made was presented to George Harrison before one

of the Ed Sullivan gigs. That was Feburary '64. Still sounds great to me though!!!!!!!!

  • Please! These heavyhanded, stomping chords don´t even come close to Lennon´s fluently, driving chord progression. And, (as usual with todays Beatles "covers"), the guitar is distorted, while Lennons Rickenbacker jangles clear and beautiful.

So: Try to use upstrokes also and ditch the dist!

  • Not isolated but good rhythm anyway!

  • Two guy's jamming in a bedroom or garage. I should know. A drummer and I use to do it all the time in the 80's. That was in Skip's Psychedelic Shack a hold over from the 60's. They put on Beatles music (Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) dropped LSD smoked some weed and painted with florescent paint and a black light to what ever song was playing. Something about naked girls too. Oh to be young again. What's the saying? Youth is wasted on the young. Mr. Shaw how right you are. Peace! ;P

  • Lennon was a guitar genius. Find the guitars only on SHE SAID SHE SAID.

  • @maplespak For that matter, find SHE SAID SHE SAID, you know, on the other side of the vinyl (also at the end) from Tomorrow Never Knows? AND THEN JUST LISTEN TO THEM ! Either one could be considered the first ACID songs. Oh well.

  • Sounds like a spy movie.

  • the video is misleading in the title by not suggesting that is it a cover, but it is... 'the beatles, she loves you, john lennons guitar part isolated'. it is by far the best insight into what lennon was playing on a recording that will never be able to be isolated and i for one have found the video very useful. as i'm sure many others have. does what it says on the tin, just a bit misleading.

  • Get a life lol

  • IT'S A FAKE!!!!

  • Not a Rickenbacker guitar..not a vox amp....not the right drum beat....not the way John Lenon plays...NOT THE BEATLES......HORRIBLE!

  • Sounds too 1980's. Methinks this is yet another fakery perpetrated to fool the public as to "authentic" original Beatle recordings. Might have been Bob Dole on rhythm for all we know.

  • @greenwich1754 Well, John WAS ahead of his time after all ! It's POSSIBLY faked, but I sincerely doubt it was a one-armed old man doing it.

  • @scizotts Yeah, I guess it'd be tough to say Mr. Dole did the rhythm guitar in the song "single-handedly"!

  • @greenwich1754 GOOD one !

  • This youTube thing realy gives you a handle to go into a lot of detail. And I wonder how it will change our perception not only on the way The Beatles used to play guitar - in the days, when the were a nummber one guitar band! I realy appreciate some insight into these guitar playing details... since I found out - after 40 years - that I prsently love that earylier stuff of the Beatles most!

  • @psychemusik equally for me. I hear you, but after all, they DID learn a LITTLE during those 7 years after Ed Sullivan.

  • yeah yeah etc are not diminished chords.

PS -and this is a good rendition but it's not John's playing.

  • It was George not John sorry. George according to legend came up with the G6 idea because of the Big Band influence on ending songs and from their parents and it is musically correct. Sorry for any confusion. The peano sheet music really shows how complicated the "yeah yeah yeahs "are. Each "yeah"is a different diminished chord. Sort of how Brian Wilson would of wrote it. Thanks for replying, John M.

  • Anyone who thinks that it isn't Lennon hasn't heard the record. They had a two-guitar sound. George's lead/rhythm isn't there.

  • Rubbish. Why claim this is Lennon's playing? Anyone who is a Beatles fan and can play will know this is fake.

Why not just man up and be honest about it?

    Fail.

  • Fake.

  • Could this be just the recorded version?

There are more strums in the live versions of "She Loves You" heard on Youtube.

In some Beatles songs, like "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", you can't even hear the rhythm guitar on the recorded version.

So maybe this is the rhythm guitar from the studio-recorded version only.

  • Sounds more like the Knack

  • Dug up my sheet music the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are based on Em and the last chord resolve is a G6. Sorry for going on about this but the video has none of the guitar flair the Beatles created for that flourish. Sorry Bye John M.

  • @johnmermigas I was waiting for the G6 but when it didn't happen, I assumed George played it. BTW, if you haven't heard "Live at the Star Club" you ain't HEARD The Beatles!!. What I hear is a Rick, a Vox AC30 and no effects. Lennon was a fantastic chord merchant.

  • I think I made mistake in that the final chord was a G major sus5 7th. A guitar player here can correct me its been many years.John M.

  • The three chords for "Yeah Yeah Yeah" are much more jazz in their makeup, very complicated. I played it on piano with original sheet music and its a much more complex five note chord progression than this. One note stays the same and the other four stretch your fingers and your talent no matter how simple it sounds. George came up with the final Gmajor to resolve the song at the end..John M

  • DON'T LIE. FOR GOD SAKES, LET'S MAKE IT A FELONY TO WILLFULLY MISREPRESENT ONESELF AS ANYONE ELSE. WHEN ARE COPYRIGHT LAWS GOING TO SHUT LYING ASSHOLES DOWN? ASSHOLE, DON'T LIE, CHEAT OR STEAL. AND DON'T COVET. JUST DON'T.

  • Not John. Not The Beatles. From the first beat - Ringo doesn't drum like this, etc. Why post this and say it's John?

  • all you non believers > This IS John PLAYING. Rickenbacher GUITAR ...it's a Rickenbacher Sound.... no other guitar sounds like this.... you fools! Its a raw sound yet to be mixed! ...you fools!

  • Nice try. This is not a bad interpretation, but Beatles songs are so well known by so many guitarists that it's probably easier to pass counterfeit money than a Beatles rhythm guitar track.

  • Nice tone though for an overdub to the track, what guitar model?

  • Ah yes, the classic G, Em, Am , D progression.

  • its not john.... but its cool... but you are still a lying peice of shit

  • Good job whom ever!

  • I can assure you, this is NOT John Lennon's playing, or his guitar. First, he played an acoustic on the original track. Second, there is none of his distinctive syncopated strumming patterns. End of discussion; all you need to do is listen closely to the 'Sie Lieb Dicht' track (German 'She Loves You) or a thousand other live videos to hear how he played it on electric. Geez, people.

  • Fake as hell! Not even his style and the drums are not Ringo's style as well

  • Not accurate, nor is it the original recording. Thumbs up to spare people this fake.

  • this is the original track, my friends

  • @80sMeavyHetal Shame it's in stereo.

  • John Lennon was SO MUCH BETTER than this CLOWN.

  • who do you think you're fooling

  • I think this is it. Pretty darn close if it isnt them. The vocal bleed over sounds like the Beatles anyway.

  • Hey! This is real. I was there.

  • i like !

  • Sounds Legit.....

  • Yup, this is a fake...although there are other isolated tracks on youtube that are real. This one...the drummer gives it away...

  • Comment removed

  • Crap.

  • LOL

  • sounds like a church band using a line 6 spider ( with a drum machine )

  • the german version has a newer rythm track. It was done on 4 track in Paris because the original session tape was scrapped by EMI in 1963.

  • FUCKIN FAKE!!!!!!!!!! REMOVE IMMEDIATELY

  • Fake.

  • it's not the original, but i like the style! :D

  • It's a shame because I have always wanted to hear John Lennon's playing isolated.

  • every band wants to be the beatles.

  • @AUSTINLAFAYETTE you have sooo much to learn... if you don't think this is the Beatles then you're not a true fan

  • @PeterHegenauer - what he means is this is NOT a Beatles isolated track. Merely someone else playing the guitar part. The drum sound is all wrong.

  • Asshole

  • You suck.

  • Why call this "John Lennon's rhythm guitar isolated"? Seriously. There's nothing wrong with doing a cover of the guitar part but trying to pass it off as the original is just lame.

  • Whatever this is, it's not the Beatles. Absolutely not.

  • le pifias en el riff la mayoria del tema

  • tenes oidos????????

  • Try a Rickenbacker 325 through a VOX AC 30. That'll get it!

  • what is this shit?

  • @WallOfSound1990 Just what the caption said: " John Lennons rythem guitar, isolated ". Get it NOW ??

  • @mrstevehartman yes but it's not John Lennon's rhythm guitar. It's someone elses!

  • Is this the cover from the movie Backbeat?

  • What a load of shite. So obviously not real. Besides, that is the sound of a humbucker, not a toaster top Rick pickup. Sorry.

  • How can you isolate anything taken from a twin track recording?

  • It's John Lennon, George Harrison, Kurt Kobain, Sid Vicious and Keith Moon playing in Nirvana.

  • She Fakes you! Basura falsa amigos, la guitarra ni siquiera va así.

  • @57highland I guess you just listen to what ever crap comes over the radio? I can't recall the last time I listened to a radio. My vehicle radios have never been tuned and programed to any stations. Have no idea of the shit that's being played today. If you don't own Paul's cd's, you can't appreciate the musical ability that is far above anyone else currently on this earth.

  • FAKE - FAKE -FAKE YOU SNAKE -SNAKE -SNAKE OH YEAH - YEAH - YEAH

  • you suck

  • theres no way in hell that this is the beatles

  • @BENNYGPRODUCTIONS is it shit

  • @marycockburn1 yeah

  • @BENNYGPRODUCTIONS

Yeah & this video sucks - too bad someone can't sue this guy for saying it's lennons guitar, when it's not!

  • @BENNYGPRODUCTIONS you're soo right.. that is NOT The Beatles.

  • A fake gonna flag this

  • she loves you nirvana version. lol

  • Totally fake because thats not his rhythm pattern. this was done by an amateur Beatles wannabe expert.

  • it's McFly version

  • May be fake but I like it anyway

  • this is fake

  • Doesn't sound like the legit thing to me.

  • @MARMARR1 You could be right. The last song by Paul that I liked was in 1979.

  • whatever.

  • why you play this with distorsion!?!??

  • a small rick does not sound like this

  • Nope.

  • Probably the same as John's part but crap tone and too Karaoke.

  • R.I.P. John, George,and Paul.

  • @lutherheggs Paul?

  • @michaelsworsley What?

  • @Jcahalane Yes, Paul was once dead for a brief time, for a few weeks in the autumn of 1969.

  • @57highland Or so they say.

  • ....no

  • Amateurs.

  • uhm.....no.

  • I don't THINK so!
