  • olasenor, even Jack Buck would forgive the slight to his early Blues work - he thought the world of Dan, praise as good as it comes

  • The Blues and the city of Saint Louis has the likes of announcing greats like Jack Buck, Dan Kelly, and Ken Wilson. Jack Buck and Dan Kelly were superb at announcing and have been ever stitched in a lot of people in or around the St.Louis area. Ken Wilson is the voice of the Blues now! <IMO! We need Wilson back in St.Louis promptly. I like John Kelly and Panger but one more "Holy Jumpin" I'm gonna scream!

  • One of the greatest...I'll never forget his call of Bobby Orr's Stanley Cup winning goal.

  • Oh without a doubt this guy was the best ever....called the 87 Canada Cup, best announcer. Good bless you Dan

  • Dan was indeed the best but he wasn't the original voice of the Blues. Jack Buck was.

  • who is Dan Kelly?? Greatest hockey announcer ever!

  • Agreed Larry.Along with his resonant voice and fluid delivery he did not have the extra wordiness of Gene Hart(at the time Gene justifiably tried to educate Flyer fans). For a young flyer fan like myself, everything St. Louis Blues was hated, except for Dan, One of the best ever, If not the best. Of coarse,Our Broad Street Bullies learned from the lessons the Plagers and Picards dished out and Steve Durbano and the likes of the Plagers got their just desserts from Dupont,Schultz and Kelly

  • Whos is Dan Kelly

  • Dan Kelly For Ever !!!
