I was there a few years ago and only got to see Dollywood,ride the alpine slide and saw an old settlement outside of the town.The traffic was a nightmare that weekend in mid April a few years ago.I enjoyed Dollywood but didn't get to visit her hometown nearby.
I go to Galtinburg every Summer and Winter, The snow their is so pretty, And its good, Cuz i live only like a hr away, Um the "Black Light mini Golf" Is a very... fun place in GatlinBurg. I got kinda bored, But for younger children I'd recommend it to keep them busy, and Right next to it is a "Mirrior World" or I think they changed the name, I walked into a mirrior there, Lol.
dollywood is fun too,and its just a 15 minute drive from gatlinburg you also forgot about the space needle replica (which is the tallest thing their) besides the moutains
iw ent there !!!! i had a blast! and u went to ober Gatlinburg on the ski lifts!! did u go on the,Cyclone,apaline slide??? or in that mall with the ice skateing?? i went to it ALL! i ahd a blast!!=D

Shh when i go i recommend the motor nature trail, the ripleys aquarium, ober, bennet's bbq, dollywood, cherokee, ghost town, no way joses, little pigeon river, space needle, clingman's dome, shopping in general, bluegrass, ocanuluftee indian village, cherokee indian museum, cades cove, and every single thing else they have to offer because it is just so beautiful,

I just got home from my vacation in Gatlinburg, it was HOT but really nice, i got to see a wild baby black bear on the way to a smoky mountain trail

I live kind of close to there, so I go with my church every year. :]
It's great, and at the same place you can see the bears you can go ice skating!
