Here's what I predict happened. Note, I have no proof. I'll bet the failed lab test, if handled properly, which have caused 1000's of products to be recalled. They probably figured it's cheaper to pay off a few victims then to have to recall so much stuff. Now that it has become such a public issue they probably will make the government spend millions of dollars running it through the courts and make them go through thousands of documents only to discover that some stuff has been shredded.

They should be throw in jail for life with no parole, and all their money in their bank should be freeze and should be paid to the victims.

This company KNEW their plant was contaminated, they went "lab-hunting" until they got a negative result on salmonella!
1)They knew that there was salmonella in their product;
2)They know salmonella is deadly;
3)They sold the product anyway;
1 + 2 + 3 = Premeditated MURDER!
If the evidence shows that they're guilty, then let's send the execs to China so that they get their just (peanut butter) desserts!
Everyone knows what China would do to them!
