like you know, the one working out is the true doctor himself, he knows when to quit, if he can handle the weights then its healthy for him, his body will let him now when its time, as long as he trains like this i dont think he will get a heartattack nor a stroke.
I understand that he is 83 and does have biceps...but you should NOT be swinging your body..thats just taking work off your biceps and using other muscles to get the Bar up...therefore cheating yourself...stop trying to act so badass and set your weight a little lower so the WHOLE thing can be pulled with JUst your biceps

hes cheating the muscle by bending his back doin his curls the hole reason of lifting is 2 let yer arms 2 lift the weight thats is the only way u can gain mass if the weight is 2 heavy 4 u tha u have 2 bend ur back its tellin u 2 go down in weight
Form is the key. I laugh when I see people swinging there back while doing curls. All your doing is hurting your back and taking away from your bi's. I'd say lower the weight some and concentrate on your form :)

i am 53 and started working out a year ago. i am 5"7' 180 pds. i can incline bench 250 for 6 reps. 225 over my head for the floor and bench 310. i hope i can lift what you are when i reach that age. oh, by the way, my girlfriend is 24. goes to show you any thing is possible.
