Black folks should have bought BET from Robert Johnson and created a real broadcast network showcasing our talent. It is segregated but, we just have not be alloted a piece of the pie without making a way for ourselves. Watching this preview was so sad for me. It was the last time I'd watch a preview for the show and this preview meant there was only one left. Goddamn I already miss the show. It went out on top though and gave us five seasons of the most brilliant television ever created. In five hundred years the show will be studied and be part of college courses. Kids will write thesis papers on the show and how it dealt with the dark side of the American Dream and how it gave the under class a voice.
I'm in school now getting my degree in education and we've spent a whole lotta time watching and discussing Season 4. So you are completely correct; students are writing thesis papers on this show.

10 episodes was just not enough for the last season. You could tell there were still so many stories to be told and/or expanded on. It should've been about 14 episodes.

Dukie's life was tragic. Made me want to cry cause so many young folk go that way. He had a lot of potential but no one to look after him (like a parent). He was not cut out for the streets and ended up becomming a junkie.

Man, everything comes back full circle. I am glad that Daniels became a lawyer, and his girl the judge. Mike needed more time but his part is sick, Dukie is sociologically accurate but sad. Hooray for Bubbles it proves that you can get off the stuff. Marlo is wack, Herc is wack, dirty lawyer is wack. Kenard should get life w/o parole for killing my hero omar. This season was cool (wasnt its best) newspaper subplot could have been better. All in all I will miss it!!!

it wasnt that bad of a season. You have to remember that there wasnt even suppose to be a 5th Season. David Simon had to get down on his knees and beg Chris Partlows character and Marlo Stanfields character to return and do another season. They couldnt finish the storyline of the vacants in Season 4 so they continued with. It wasnt the best season but a very good one.

3)mcnulty's bs goes public (he's going down) as well as that reporter's.

Man, everything comes back full circle. I am glad that Daniels became a lawyer, and his girl the judge. Mike needed more time but his part is sick, Dukie is sociologically accurate but sad. Hooray for Bubbles it proves that you can get off the stuff. Marlo is wack, Herc is wack, dirty lawyer is wack. Kenard should get life w/o parole for killing my hero omar. This season was cool (wasnt its best) newspaper subplot could have been better. All in all I will miss it!!!

it wasnt that bad of a season. You have to remember that there wasnt even suppose to be a 5th Season. David Simon had to get down on his knees and beg Chris Partlows character and Marlo Stanfields character to return and do another season. They couldnt finish the storyline of the vacants in Season 4 so they continued with. It wasnt the best season but a very good one.

I dont think that shot(43/44) is a scene of Marlo gettin killed or anything. I think its some new hoppers that dont respect him so he teachin em a lesson. But if he does die in this episode, its either gon be by Mike or Chris.

Nah... I dont think so... Mike aint your average dude. That would be kinda stupid for Mike to be out in the open like that when he's been trained by Chris and Snoop... especially since he know Marlo put the hit out on him. Mike a real killa. I just dont see that.
