She's really good. What I don't get is why everybody is so annoyed that she's trying to be pop. When you put makeup on, aren't you trying to be pretty? When you wear a seatbelt, aren't you trying to be safe? Pop stars do this as well, and you do in your everyday life. You adjust to be the version of you that you see. That's all she's doing. And frankly, once you get past it, the music is quite good.

I get the impression Taylor contacted the producer because she wanted to be a singer in a music genre that hardly allows soloist singers and women, so they just chose the musicians that could better fit Taylor. I love Taylor's voice, but I feel SHE is the Pretty Reckless. I think that band will not last long, but she will continue with a musical career.
@yic17 I met her on Monday and the person in charge was like 'Just one picture per person because they have been up for a really long time now so we can't be too late'.. turns out they didn't leave the venue until 3 in the morning. An early night for her is an extremely late night for me haha! Your right, she's crazy, don't know how she does it. I need my sleep lol!

This is to proud2bevegan, It is so true I agree completely. She is an incredible singer and has a great voice. I actually love her choice of clothing, I don't think it is very slutish but a lot of people do. And I am sixteen years old and I don't see anything wrong with her attitude or her way of expressing the way she feels. her first concert ever was white stripes for those of you that don't know that she's also a rock n roll fan. she's as real as it gets. so she wears a lot of make up. who cares? the music is awesome. the voice is awesome. so she gets help writing songs from the guitarist. who cares? they're a BAND! not some annoying kid with rich parents that sent them to disney.
they started touring UK first and released their album their first because of dumb american fans like you (i'm from america too)

This is to proud2bevegan, It is so true I agree completely. She is an incredible singer and has a great voice. I actually love her choice of clothing, I don't think it is very slutish but a lot of people do. And I am sixteen years old and I don't see anything wrong with her attitude or her way of expressing the way she feels. I think everyone needs to lay off her because she is great and lovely to listen to. Her songs are different unlike every other pop song. I LOVE ROCK! And taylor.

@leanrun4 observe the way she sings, very easily and without loosing too much of air. I think she uses Belting as singing technique, that's why it sounds raspy and it's just her voice. I think she knows what she is doing when it comes to singing. I take singing lessons myself.

@Piarose7 Her voice IS forced. She is trying to sound like a rock singer, and failing. Because she is PUTTING ON a fake raspy voice. It isn't her natural. Like it was said before, she sounds like she' doing a bad jack white impersonation.

@logtree6 do you sing yourself? all i read is that she used to take singing lessons, then why is she ruining her voice instead if she learnt the right singing technique? if she does force her voice then she can be lucky not to lose those low notes while singing or after a 3 minutes song, because usually they are gone if someone puts pressure on the vocal chords!
