i wish cockatoos weren't so demanding and high-maintenance. i would love to have one, but i know that i can't care for one properly. i'll have to stick with cockatiels or budgies :)
Sadly this video doesnt capture the sound to a T, because those things are LOUD! Dont think any video can capture it, people just have to experience it in person.
I babysat one for a month, and my consumption of headache killers have never been higher =D Lovely birds, but...loud.

that doesn't sound like an M2 scream to me. Sounds like he/she is just playing. Normal cockatoo sounds. Imagine if people heard the actual screams.

My mom love birds, and we have a few that LOVE to scream, so glad that they dont scream like this guy!

@stockdama I heard a macaw screaming in a pet shop and it was louder than a power tool. That's seriously loud.

They have and almost cute voice... but I have two Sulphur-cresteds, so I know very well how loud a cockatoo (or two) is. ;)
And isn't the Moluccan the loudest bird on Earth?
