When you have Ray Ray, Pierce, and KG to shoot why not focus more on the other aspects, while at the same time practicing your shooting to make it better. In all offensive categories - be it simply assisting, shooting, playmaking, controlling the speed of the game there is noone even close to Steve Nash. Noone. On the other hand on defense his team has to play 5 on 4 unfortunately :p

Ive got mad respect for rondo.. im a fan. but come on nowww. Offensively he is weak... has a mediocre shot.. not the best finisher.. and he is surrounded by the best shooter of all time, one of the best power forwards, and one of the best closers.. great passer tho.

@ravengaines1 how much of it is who hes assisting to? what if you switch him with john wall or ramon sessions is he still the best pg in the league? i wouldnt think so...the thing about guys like chris paul, deron wiliams and derrick rose is they assist and push it in transition just as well if not better than rondo but they can SHOOT...rondo isnt a threat offensively and the celtics have payed for it guys can just straight up ignor him when hes off the ball cant do that with the others

@DaVinchiman Solid? He's top 5 easily at his position. He's arguably the greatest passer in the league, the likes of glen davis can finish with the looks he gives them. He made shaq look young in the beginning of the season! His only areas of weakness are his midrange (41% last season) and ft's. Granted those are two glaring flaws, but he's far better than you give him credit for.

I don't mean to imply that Rondo's place isn't among the elite pg (especially true pg), however i just felt the need to speak out against the fanatics calling him by far the best pg in the game. I consider that a disrespect against all our other young pg's and what they've accomplished.
p.s i know rondo won a championship but come on he was a shaky undeveloped potential
