This is very strange for me to watch...the cappa magna is sign of jurisdiction and dignity. Usually only the ordinary wears the cappa in his own diocese, and cardinals of course...what's stranger is seeing a familiaris in ferriaolo carrying the train instead of the train bearer. I might be wrong, but that was my impression.
Why progressivism, worshipping and keeping tradition such as the saints produces more vocations, i.e. Marriage, religious brothers and sisters, and ofc the priesthood. Our duty as participants... not even participants, the baptized of the Catholic faith is to keep tradition and a close relationship to the blessed Sacrament, the center of the church.
How sad, as if men in archaic drag really convay the gospel. Perhaps less theater and more sincerity would give a more positive message instead of the length of their tassels. Sorry, but it is time for Vatican III and a solemn requiem and burry the albatross and wait three days a resurect it anew. The past and tradition are a huge weigth to drag forward when it is irrelavant.
