It is a marvelous firearm, but the original scope looks much better in my opinion, and is big enough so you dont have to squint. I do believe that it is more reliable than an M16-1 and M16-2 when it comes to staying clean.

duh, it is more reliable than M16 variants since it's a piston system. but that's about as meaningfull as saying that sport UVs are more reliable/rugged than sport cars. neither is really much better than the others since they all have pros/cons, and bullpup system as in F2000 solve some problems with piston system but it adds problems that are unique to bullpup system. direct impingement, piston, standard, or bullpup, they all do the job and DO NOT make a differene in the outcome of a war.

Big problem of bullpup is the noise it generates close to your ear.

You just can't go to war with ear plugs, or risk deafness withoutthem.

book says thorough cleaning after 2000 rounds and it is easy to clean.

It is supposed to be tested in sand, mud, water, to pass the nato test.

There were a few isolated issues with jamming cartridges and breaking plastic pull loader.

Ive heard reports that it is reliable, but how does it hold up to sand, water, cold and hot temperatures? I know its easy to field strip but is it easy to clean and maintain? How often does it need cleaning? How does it compare in reliability to other nato used weapons?

Nope b/c the m16's operation was proven to be one of the least durable/reliable. but its not drop dead bad im just saying.

Yes, it can be mounted with a silencer, best to have a gunsmith do it for you though, the flash suppressor is difficult to remove.

Very accurate. Check movie, first shooting ever 100m 2,5 square cm dot, not using optics and we were just adjusting them. Otherwise 300m is max range of the field, having no problems leveling targets.

yes we slovenians bought the FN F2000 and made some modifications so we call it F2000S.Have to say its a damn good rifle compared to AK47 so...very precise,easy to shot,the onely thing is that is damn loud.
