@supertardtv Actually they do. I have asked Universal whether I can use content on my Youtube channel, and they responded, saying I could use certain trailers. I'm only a 16 year old with about 60 views per video. This show is made by two companies (Triune and Revision3) and they have tens of thousands of views per episode, and Youtube partnership. I would say they asked permission.

Great Video, Glad you mentioned Saving Private Ryan. In university, i used pyramix audio software a studio and sourced clips, to record the foley/FX and mapped it in 5:1 for the opening scene on the beach. Great fun panning the bullet sounds and using the LFE for explosions. Good work dudes!

It might be worth mentioning aswell about 3-D sound capture done with two microphones. It is incrediably easy and is beyond amazing if you are doing a PoV shot from your character's perspective. You have two microphones, one on each side of the camera, and you progress through the scene as normal, moving through space just like your character would. The two microphones act just like a person's ears would. when you go to sync the audio, you just assign the right audio to the right speaker, so on.

@lollalot Absolutely. Mac or Windows is a preference thing at this point. In fact, the indie film Monsters was entirely done on a windows system using Adobe products.
