  • It was easy for me to figure out the frequency. It's the authorization code from the begginning of the game.

  • wait wha someone please explain

  • WHAT DUDE everyone knows that i found it out on the first day i got it!

  • ive done that so many times its no secret

  • There's nothing special about this, if anyone would pay attention, this is the same code that you use from the beginning of the game. Also, the ship is blue because he closed the window, there's a button on the right to control that. (though you never use it in-game)

  • i found one where an alien talks but i thinks every one no thats

  • if you go to the room "data storage b" on Norion there is an object that when scanned gives you the code :

    28413

    73636

    55184

    14758

reading the numbers vertically as i have written it (ie. 2751 or 8354) will give you the 5 codes that are the secret messages.

  • thated be cool if u entered one and some scary halloween face jumped out. or some western music played randomley.

  • there are actually 3 more hidden messages besides miyamoto and iwata's.

  • this isnt secret, i do it all the time

  • this aint a subliminal message its an easter egg :/

  • he never said it was subliminal and its the head of nintendo

  • it is the same code you put in in the beginning of the game -_-

  • that was wierd i was messing around with that before i watched this not even knowing it

  • hmm i auto write down the code and try this myself

  • if im not wrong there are 4-5 secret message one is of Shigeru Miyamoto and other of those is the Metroid music composer

  • its the same code as the 1 you need 2 poot in at the start i did that... i didnt know what it said cuz its japinise...i wish i could though

  • I gotta try that....and people say not to fiddle.

  • that was the first thing i found while playing x)

  • when reeding the title, i expected a different message.

  • i found it too.

On IGN it says there are others if you put different codes in.

  • is that in the US version also?

  • What do you mean, don't be racist!

    Also, "inglish" is spelled "english."

  • 5 inches RIGHT phorcep

  • japanese...... like impossible to understand

  • Hardly. I find Japanese, in spoken form anyway, substantially easier to speak than say, French (which I've taken as well). It's actually a very interesting language and to be frank...English is about 40x harder to learn so...who's really harder to understand?

Seriously though, what's impossible about it? Have you ever tried learning it? If not than of course it's going to be impossible. If so, there's no such thing as a really easy language to learn...

  • Wow, conmag9, knowing that I learned one of the hardest languages, I suddenly feel so proud to type these scentences!

  • english is not hard to learn. japanese is much harder

  • wow miemand you obviously can't read

  • well english is much easier than french.

  • Not really. English is basically just French, except with strange verbs missing and different words with different endings. French is actually a lot simpler.

  • did you know most english todate is from the old norweagen vikings spoke? when the vikings invaded brittian a long time ago the brittians started to change the words alilltle bit. for eksample gay ment fun or happy and it came from gøy wich pronunces the same way and means the same thing :D..

  • The Vikings changed it before the French did true, but the French were here for a lot longer and so most English words nowadays are French. Because of the Normans in 1066.

  • Well... gay is also french and means: funny, or happy, mainly used as an adjective for a person

  • ...

  • hahah hey can you speak dutch because i can read what you wrote woon je in nederland of america

  • woon in nederland :p

  • what is je naam

  • check me account daar kan je me naam zien

  • ok then, conmag9, transalate what the message said? and don't be a smart ass

  • as are most languages you havent leanrned unless you know latin but that still only help with a few

  • i've heard that there's another hidden message from shigeru miyamoto, but i don't have the game to prove it.

  • Do they have it in english?

  • Cool

  • wtf is he saying?

  • "Hello, this is Iwata from Nintendo. You may not know from an outsiders point of view, but being a director is really hard! When things are really busy and stressful we (us directors) may look tired and sick, then people may feel sorry for us! But in my case, it's the opposite, I get fatter and fatter, so then people don't think I'm stressed at all!"

taken from the video description 5 inches to the left.

  • mr. i wata?

  • wat bout the one in snowy brio? whos talking there? and brrio ice is where u get the screw attack

  • it was aurora unit 242

  • Lol i had that 2. it seems to be a message from Nintendo. (it's one of the gamedisigners)

  • no it isnt the maker of the game. it is the president of nintendo himself! if you are a nintendo fan you will understand how important it is to hear the voice of the person who made one of the companies with most profit (except burger king and macdonalds) in the whole world

  • I knew it was something like that. it was a long time when i readed that. xD I'm a real Nintendo fan and btw Burgerking ownz MacDonalds!! xD

  • we r both nintendo fans! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

  • HEY... thats the same code I use every time

  • i remember finding this. i was like wtf

  • okayyyyyyyy.....well that sucked

  • I found that one too but I didn't know japanese but I get it now.

I guess you covered the window cause you don't want annyone to see how far you've come.

  • I heard there were some other hidden messages as well. Though I haven't checked them...

  • here is the translation:

"Hello, this is Iwata from Nintendo. You may not know from an outsiders point of view, but being a director is really hard! When things are really busy and stressful we (us directors) may look tired and sick, then people may feel sorry for us! But in my case, it's the opposite, I get fatter and fatter, so then people don't think I'm stressed at all!"

  • This is all realy great. But why isnt there also a translation!!??

  • Check the comments of the videos

  • thats what makes it such an interesting easter egg. either that or english translators were lazy XD

  • mmmmm.....easter egg

  • It is Nintendo's President!

Kool, I was sure there was a secret with the radio!

  • yea i foud that too when i remembered the raidio frequency and came to the conclusion that it was japaneese :)

  • uh... okay.

  • why is your screen so blue?

  • It's the camera looking at the screen doing that. In reality it doesn't actually look like that.

  • ROFL! Gotta love Iwata.

  • My cousin got Myamto.

  • that is useless just for fun that message. useless too are the buttens to close the visor of the ship and the butten for the missles ( colors the ship in red inside the ship)

  • its just an easter egg

  • lol yea thers 2 secret messages i like going in samus ship and randomly pushing buttons but do u ever get 2 use the ships guns?

  • *sniff*:,(

  • any japanese peaple can translate it

  • Yeah it is.

  • It sounded like he said "Metroid Dread" if you listen closely.

  • metroid dredge its believed to be a cancelled metroid game.

  • dredge

  • i meant dread. srry

  • what did he say ?

  • Basically, "Hey, this is Iwata. Being Nintendo's director is very hard. People look sick when they're stressed, but I just get fat, so I don't look stressed at all."

  • Everybody knows that is there

  • There's two other messages too.

  • type this in on youtube "Metroid Prime 3: Dark Samus Message"

  • what are u guys talking about samus is in her own ship just with the hood closed

  • does anybody have a clue what the transmission is saying?

  • go to masterlinxs video description on top right

  • idk its one of the japanese game designers

  • Nice Video Mates, The Message Says That -A Producer Is Implying That He Has Different Issues Inside The Nintendo Press Area-. And That People Should Not Worry About It, Because He's Quite Alright. (Someone At The Developement Team)

  • LOL thats funny i have to see that

  • Actual I'm sure it is Sylux's. You not only see it in Hunters, but you fight it twice, I wouldn't forget that butterfly shape

  • WHAT IS HE SAYING?!

  • only appears with 100% by the way.

  • oh yeah. if anyone has beat hypermode, i'd like to hear your ideas as to who that blue ship at the end after the credits might belong to.

  • It appears with any difficulty, as long as you get 100%, as for who is in the ship, I have no clue.

  • i'm guessing that its Sylux's ship from Metroid Prime Hunters, though i'm not sure

  • perhaps, i've read that we were suppose to see at least 1 familiar hunter in the game, but nothing, maybe that ship belongs to him, though we've never seen it in hunters...

  • *sihg* hypermode was tough, luckily i figured the "invicibility" trick to hypermode and that helped things along a bit. damn last boss endu.! takes so long in hyper, aprox. 40 min.!!!

  • The valhala energy cell is right when you land on the valhalla ship. you just walk up and to the right and it is right on the ground.

  • where is the valhalla energy cell, i have all but this one.

  • There's also another hidden voice message from Shigeru Miyamoto. If you number the buttons from left to right (1 being far left and 8 being far right) then enter 8-3-5-4. Now you'll hear Miyamoto himself!

  • i beat omega ridley but where is the hidden fuel gel pumping station on bryyo i just need 1 energy cell

  • That's the hardest cell to find. It involves ship grappling many items around bryyo and is kinda complicated, but you don't need this energy cell to "beat" the game without 100%.

  • sweet, i got this game today but im already stuck on the 2nd planet x.x

  • Check out Gamespot for a guide.

  • is there online play

  • No, it has some wireless support for updates, but I doubt they'll add a multiplayer mode. That shouldn't be the factor that decides whether you'll like it or not.

  • I beat the game(had it since launch) and its OK.If you want proof,heres all the items you can get(not in order)Power beam,plasma beam,nova beam,missiles,ice missiles,seeker missiles,varia suit,PED suit,space jump boots,hazard protection,hyper beam,hyper ball,hyper missile,hyper grapple,morph ball,morph ball bomb,spider ball,boost ball,grapple lasso,grapple swing,grapple voltage.Ship upgrades:save station,grapple beam,missiles.Thats pretty much all.

  • Yay! I'm not the only one who beat it.

  • :D lol..

  • i played since first day it was out 2, but not alot... i keep getin stuck. i beat 1 n 2 e z iduno y dis is harder. can some1 rite me back on how to get the bomb parts. i have ship grapple i just cant get up to em i forget the name of theplanet since im on wii internet =P oh and if n e 1 wnts to b on my friend roster, tell me ur console number and ill post mine

  • 7322 2128 6531 4725 thats my # whats urs

  • 5117 1227 3365 7876

  • did you finish it 100% because if not then you didn't really "beat" the same u have passed the game but not beaten it

  • yes i did.

  • that's true, 100% items count as finishing.

  • i beat the game too its not that hard tho im now playing it on hypermode

  • No this is a greeting from Iwata! The creater of Wii!

  • Metroid Prime 3 will be just the right reason to play my Wii again, after playing Zelda.

  • hahaahaahhahahahaha

  • lots of people in Japan die from exhaustion

  • i got that game u have live? mines is AzN_GuY_209

  • Lol this isnt xbox dipshit.God your a fucking idiot.

  • thanks man

  • Learn some "shut the hell up" I didn't ask for your comment.

  • what its actually saying is "Get A Life"

  • i did dat 2 THIS GAME ROX FROM START 2 FINISH

  • thats pretty nifty

  • Its a subliminal message!!!! THEY WANT TO CONTROL OUR MINDS!!!!!!!!!

  • When you make films or games etc.. you have artistic license to put in what you want to amuse yourself. Hidden messages or subliminal visuals, I'm sure this is exactly that. (like the swear word on the rock face in The Lion King for example)

  • Wouldn't he have referred to himself as Iwata-san like a lot of the Nintendo employees call him?

  • no, when you're making or saying like an introduction of yourself, you say desu, like he did. San is a suffix for someone older, applying it to yourself wouldn't make sense. It's kinda like saying oresama [basically a way to say "myself" when you're really acting like a prick!].

    xD

  • Your a fucking idiot. Razorfangs.

  • well how come meiogi calls the karate kid daniel-san if he's older the daniel-san?

  • This is strange.

Why would Iwata put this message in this game?

  • Easter egg.

  • Its a sign of ANOTHER Megatonne announcement that is coming shortly that will change the face of gaming (as if WiiDS havn't done it already?)

It is going to be BIG.

    You heard it hear first.

    Mark my words...

  • Heard it HERE* first...

  • so people can spend countless hours looking up information and doing research so that it really says "Buy an iPhone"

  • There's no real reason. It's like an Easter Egg.

  • wow..the game moves so smooth and in 60frame rate. The other higher quality vid I watched doesn't move this smooth. Anyway

"Satoru Iwata" how the hell is he the director!? he doesn't work for Retreo Studios:/ Plus isn't he the President of Nintendo...since when was he a director?

  • he probably directed a few games

  • what game!? he only worked on Zelda and Mario games

  • so then i guess hes a director

  • I'm guessing since he's the president of Nintendo, and this is still a Nintendo game Retro or not, it was put in.

  • It may be put in it..but that is not him! I heard konichiwa (wat ever its spelled) which means Hello. But I didn't hear "Satoru Iwata". Plus why da hell who someone wanna put they are fat and stressed:/

  • hear again, he says konnichiwa, and then "Nintendo no iwata Desu (pronounced nintendo no iwata des)" that means im iwata from nintendo

  • lol..since when did he say Desu?

just give it to a Japanese guy to translate it

  • It is already translated and he does say desu.

  • wat so you believed someone who translated it and its not even Japanese. Believe him. Cuz why the hell would someone want to say "i am getting fatter and fatter" thats talking about their health. Why do they wanna say that to gamers:/

  • its a joke, for gods sake.

  • its a joke!?...how am I suppose to know..I don't even speak Jap. They said a joke in jap:/

I just want a real Japanese person to translate it

  • Real Japanese people HAVE translated it, you fool. If every existing interpretation of what he's saying is indeed fake, then it's amazing how they all convey the exact same message, isn't it?

It's an Easter Egg, and Iwata made fun of himself for a laugh. GET OVER IT.

  • you should get over your ass:/

  • Random but still cool lol

  • I know japanese.....

  • Just found this out myself a few minutes ago. It certainly works. Shame someone figured it out before me 8(

  • is this fake?

  • nope. I tried it myself.

  • I did this translation for the guys over at "gonintendo".

One of my favourite Nintendo sites! Enjoy :-)
