  • im on keto, just got Coconut Oil, but i used to drink THai Chicken COconut Milk. Best thing on earth!

  • coz shes behind a green screen

  • Too bad im allergic:(

  • alot o shite

  • Take it off!!!

  • I've got a lovely bunch of Coconuts! ode to Benny Hill

  • I think coconut oil is delicious, it has this savory, rich flavor. Its like butter and crisco had a coconut flavored baby.

  • its not the beach , its just a picture behind her lol

  • I'm a MedicalTechnologist and chemistry supervisor at a 200 bed hospital. I can tell you that while Coconut is delicious after adding it to my diet and drawing my blood every 4 weeks I watched my cholesterol jumped from 125 to 189 in the span of 3 months, my LDL also drastically increased. I should also mention that I'm a vegan and competitive cyclist that maintains low body fat year round. I stopped using coconut altogether and went back to walnut, organic hemp and flax oil. Polyunsaturated oil

  • @toowaker37 I'm calling you out on this. Try this again and see if this happens again - there's no research supporting coconut increasing LDL/HDL that I can find. It might be the old causal misconception: "I fell off my bike when I wore a blue sweater so the blue sweater is dangerous...".

  • Go ahead and call me out on this on, however I had changed nothing about my diet or my exercise routine or my body weight and I dropped my LDL and total cholesterol by dropping the use of Coconut in my diet. I have the ability to run my lipid panels and have done so for the past 18 years as a MedTech at 3 month intervals. The internet isn't always the best source of info, if you need info do the research yourself.

  • what do you think of Silk Pure Coconut Vanilla

  • Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

  • @LisaJJMerry we could migrate if you'd like?

  • Coconut is the best. ^^

  • Where are you Natalie, why aren't you doing health youtube videos anymore.

You were the BEST. An intelligent speaker with good knowledge of health and wellbeing.

    Please come back!

  • thanks coconut is my favourite

  • I would take all the coconut crap out of her cupboards too. The only healthy way to eat a coconut is to crack one open, drink the water. You can eat the coconut meat, but there is a TON of fat in that, and if you're being healthy, you have to have limits. Even good fat is still fat. Use it in moderation.

  • @lamador27 Good fat is easy to burn and is essential. What she is saying is true. Coconut and coconut oil is very good for you. When you are exercising regularly good fat such as cocnut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, are very good for you. So what you're saying is not true eating the coconut meat is very good not just the water.

  • @red96219 Agreed in the fact that these fats are much easier to burn and do lots less damage to the body than fats from any animal source. I didn't say that the coconut itself was bad for anyone. What I am saying is that, at almost 600% of the rda of saturated fat, one might want to think twice about downing too much coconut meat. There is nothing wrong with a coconut in natural form. The word I used was 'moderation'. Here, let me say it again: MODERATION. There ya go.

  • @lamador27 You contradict yourself. quote "the only healthy way to eat coconut is to crack one open, drink the water". I was merely pointing out that is not true MODERATION was not the issue. So ther you go!

  • just watch this on youtube. Codex Alimentarius 1 of 4

    watch?v=spoucYXa3-A

    and google this:

    ig farben codex alimentarius

IG Farben was a conglomaration of 3 German Chemical companies that runned the Cncentration camps in Poland during the second world war. their trick are patents, copying mother nature and selling it to us, don't trust anyone who tells you that vitamins are bad. DOYOUR OWN RESEARCH!! TRUST ME!

  • Coconut for President!

  • Be that as it may with coconuts but people don't live that long in the coconut area? Average life is kinda short on the coconut islands. Japanese live a lot longer on fish-oil? Any point on that?

  • but in malaysia doctor say cocunat is killer ...for heart deases.....

why...........i dont no.... maby that doctor need to more study............ or what.thank you.

  • I ve started buying pure coconut water it is phenomenal - kickstarted a new health regime, I feel great.

  • Its high in fiber too!!! I shat my pants for 3 days STRAIGHT! but it was worth the taste... yumm...

  • going to try, the U.S. has mislead us to believe its not good due to the fat, while they continue to feed and sell us unhealthy foods.

  • @MsAlesia45

yup definitely best to do our own research than trust what the FDA tells us and stuff. P.S. Don't eat soy.

  • Its no accident that our government has declared war on everything that helps humans stay healthy. Especially mental health. Healthy Americans are a threat to the American money interests.

  • Young coconuts are hard to find in the US.

  • The main reason why coconut oil got a bad rap in North America and western Europe because it was lump with lard and other animal fats because it looks like lard at average room temperature in Europe and North America, especially during winter. Coconut oil contain mainly lauric acid which is a medium chain fatty acid.

  • Well said. And you are so HOT!!!

  • Coconut seems to be finally getting some positive attention, all the new coconut water products are seem to be selling well

  • I have been concerned about the oil I fry with. Thank you again. Sounds like I will give coconut oil a try..

  • rockin a turtle neck with a beach background lol found info usefull thanks

  • Nice video and good information

Clearly a natural coconut would provide us with the most benefit, but does canned coconut still contain enough nutrients vs the real coconut.

  • Comment removed

  • This is exactly what I was looking for when I Googled "coconut nutrition." I love coconut and I'm glad to hear that they're so nutritious. Great job Natalie!

  • girl you rock !!!!!!!!

  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil has 12 g. sat. fat!!!!!!!

  • @VeganGirl1011 Yes it does. Did you even watch and listen to what she was saying?

  • @VeganGirl1011 right. the more plant based saturated fat, the better. no cholesterol, good digestion, good brain power and more energy.

  • Natalie isnt at the beach! Can't you see that the waves in the background ARENT MOVING? Geez...some people need to get off the internet and get out more...

But Natalie sure looks cute..she looks like a coconut...white sweater/brown hair...I Love CoCoNuts..

  • 10 bucks says the guy shes talking about in the beginning of the clip who threw away all the coconut prolly threw away cans of coconut milk (which are NOT good for you) and threw out that nice sugar coated coconut flakes you make in your desserts i doubt any diet person would throw out any fresh produce dumb chick

  • Why is she wearing a sweater at the beach??

  • @CaptainSuspenders why is she sitting in front of a big coconut ,oh! what's that a wave? DAAAAAA

  • @CaptainSuspenders I don't think she's at any beach. She's probably in a studio or filming location standing in front of a large picture with a hugely enlarged coconut half added to the photo. Notice there seems to be no breeze because her hair isn't blowing.

  • @CaptainSuspenders : Her psyche is could! :P ...but warm heart...

  • @CaptainSuspenders She just doesnt want to show us her coconuts

  • I live in Indonesia and we have a lot of coconut here. grateful for that :)

  • watch?v=Hpy-psuDz6U

  • Man, people get really stoopit when it comes to fruit. Coconut is the best! ALL fruit is the best!

  • a fruit cant fucking be unhealthy!!!!

  • @Octavideoz They have a looottt of sugars in them.

  • how about the coconut wine? ^_^

  • trying to get the cocunut meat out with a knife. GET OUT!

  • uppss I mean plants do not have cholesterol.

  • FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW you can get cholesterol only from animal products, vegetables DO NOT HAVE CHOLESTEROL!!! that is a fact and anyone who had study some biology or ... should know this.

  • @medinalba yes, however when you over-eat (intake excessive amounts of calories, sugars -->fats) these sugars/fats turn into cholesterol. I learned this in biochem class.

  • Im beating off to you right now!

  • Thank You for pointing out the truth that has been stifled by the processed oil and grain markets of the USA! Coconut is EXCELLENT in flavor and nutrition and movie theater popcorn killed it in the minds of the public who can not think for themselves!

  • Very true!!!Helps you to loose weight!makes you feel better! and gives you a lot of energy! The coconut miracle-this book contains a lot of information about coconut, as well the coconut cures!

  • My doctor told me to stay away from coconut because I have high cholestrol. I checked out the coconut oil, juice, etc... There was NO cholestrol in them. I am going to try coconut again because it tastes good.

  • @kevfal Cholesterol in foods hardly has any affect the bodys cholesterol levels, your doctor was most likely telling you this becasue of coconuts high saturated fat content. However there have never been any studies linking coconut oil on its own with increased heart disease, there have only been studies (supposedly) linking other general saturated fats with heart disease.

  • now i know why guilligan never get sick...

  • thank god, because i LOVE coconut. love it.

  • shes hot!!!

  • smart and cute

  • Hey, I have ALWAYS loved toasted salted coconut shavings for a snack, but don't ever see it anywhere in the store, anyone know where i can buy some? I found a fabulously tasty health food bar made of coconut and flax seed called "Omega-3" (in a pinkish wrapper) but it disappeared!! Anyone know where I can find them? Any other healthy tasty coconut snacks out there? Raw coconut is a chore to eat, honestly.

  • does coconut oil help nutrient absorption?

  • the raw fooders I've seen over 50 all look bad. anybody can look good in their 20's and 30's but after 50 is a lot harder. most of the over 50 raw fooders I've seen are either overweight or unnaturally thin and have lots of wrinkles. I think the balance is missing there. Personally I think a lot of raw fooders abuse their bodies.

  • I love to drink coconut water and eat young coconut meat. We have it in our backyard at my parents house in the Philippines. Here in Europe, you can only buy old coconut but you can never find fresh young coconut meat with water, but it is available in canned drinks (not pure anymore though). We use virgin coconut oil for cooking!

  • Now the question is what's better, coconut water or coconut milk?

  • @jumaivsa I think coconut water from young coconuts (we discard coconut water from old coconuts and throw it away) is better coz you can drink it as is, but coconut milk (which is extracted by squeezing the white coconut meat from old coconuts) is often used for cooking foods and for Asian desserts :)

  • Does anybody know how old Natlie is? I heard in one of the videos she did mention a husband so she must be in her twenties or thirtes right?

  • @Maewynn2011 Don't know why it matters....

  • As a Licensed Clinical Nutritionist for over 15 years I totally agree! I love coconut oil. It's a great high quality oil and we NEED it. Coconut gets a bad rap because the oil is so often HYDROGENATED in junk foods so that it will sit on a shelf for 20 years.Unprocessed, virgin coconut oil is a healing food and a medium chain triglyceride that keeps our energy stable. Also, look at people who eat coconut all the time like pacific islanders. They have beautiful skin and hair! Thanks Natalie!

  • thank you for this - great stuff, unfortunately coconut taste does not go with most western meals.

  • What about coconut milk?

  • Thankyou for giving us this valuable information! This is very helpful!

  • extra virgin coconut oil is awesome! I've used it as a daily supplement for about 8 months and I've never felt better. It also makes an excellent skin moisturizer and tanning oil (it allows u to tan but protects your skin from sun damage). I use it to cook too, its great for frying breaded shrimp. Nice video, lots of good info

  • @overflow888 where can i buy cocout oil?? thx

  • @overflow888 hi..an you pls tell me where can i find coconut iol?Thx

  • @babylovzz1 hi there. I usually get mine from amazon.com. its around $20 (including shipping) for 2 jars. the brand i get is Nutiva, its probably the best one out there

  • @overflow888 thank you ..your great

  • i love coconut.

  • Coconut with lime juice and chili powder is awesome (Mexican fruit stand style)

  • will you marry me?

  • I am going to share this on facebook!

  • I lived in Thailand. YOUNG coconut (not the brown hairy type) is the one that is full of coconut water (as they mature they get less water and more of the white 'meat'). Both = good but I'm only talking about the water here. Was amazed to learn that young coconut water is so pure and so balanced in terms of body's needs that in poor hospitals in Asia, when a trauma victim (car wreck etc) comes in they use raw coconut water as an IV/blood loss replacement. They chop em and shoot it into you

  • Hey Natalie, you are awesome, in more ways than 1, what do you think about oil pulling using coconut oil????

  • Hot.

  • RULE OF FOOD:

If it tastes like shit - it's good for you.

  • @ToBeFedVideos LOL!

  • I hate coconuts, they're fat, hairy and disgusting. I mean it directly. I am more bothered by the corrupt science behind it. Those scientists who named it must have been struck blind, deaf and dumb and missing all limbs. The coconut is a fruit, not a nut. They call passion fruit a fruit because at least we actually know that it IS a fruit.

Anyone who likes coconuts, eats them and likes them = fails at life =)

  • @xbearcanrockx you just couldnt get one open

  • @xSpArTiChRiSx Not that I wanted to, because in the end they're still fat, hairy and disgusting. I am actually describing the coconut itself here.. even though it may apply to a nut sac. I am personally insulting the coconut and not a man's nut sac in this video.

  • @xbearcanrockx ya well that gaping hole between ur legs aint very pretty either oh and btw you have a horrible taste in music...Cheers! ^_^

  • @xSpArTiChRiSx yeah, I'm sure you're one to judge. you don't even know me or anything about my life thanks.

keep the rude comments to yourself you big dumb redneck. yeah and you're profile really brings the ladies to the yard doesn't it? hmm.. a half dead body, eating the insides of a dead body. yep. that's really gotta be the most attractive thing I've seen in all my 21 years of being alive..

you're clearly the one who's mentally and emotionally disturbed.

  • @xbearcanrockx You dumbass, it's just a big seed - Making it a nut.

  • She's hot.

  • Coco Ghillie Camo On.

  • Yep go the coconuts

  • ok i got it! i stoped at 8 ILL JUST START EATING COCONUTS!

  • Natalie, you are gorgeous and super informational. I just found you on YouTube and automatically fell in love with your videos and your charisma. Keep making more!

PS: Everytime I watch a new video I'm always expecting the still pictures, it's funny.

  • anyone know if coconut water is any good?? i tried it and it tastes horrible, but if it actually does do what i've heard, i am all for drinking it!!!

  • For me a super thing is transfer factor since i take i am super healthy and i dont get sick any more is kind of cool

if you are intrested let me know and i show you how to buy it cuz is an exclusive product

  • This girl probably isn't making any money from this and its free information for people trying to get healthy. FREE! how many other people want you to to buy a book or a blender or take their special supplement for a crapload of money? Thank you Natalie !

  • @porkchoppeaches She is accurate & right on.The soybean inds is who tried to give it a bad name funny as soybeans are GMO most of the time highly pesticides & monocrop in countries like Equador taking farmers land making kids sick from crop dusting. Monsanto HUGE in soybeans. Do not mistaken 'Palm Oil" with coconut oil as coconut oil usually pure clean nutritious palm is a smaller totally different nut & used in "hydrogenated" garbage food bad for you. I get WildernessFamilyNaturals Excellent!

  • Just do some of your own research, read other books and you'll see that everything she's saying is true!

  • nice beatiful girl

  • Natalie! Please! What are your credentials? You don't even give your full name. And your website has an airy-fairy title: ("Psyche Truth"?!) Why should I believe your advice if you don't give physiological, metabolic explanations and scientific references? I respect your effort , but your Valley Girl voice and mispronunciation of words lowers your credibility factor, as well. Although I know you are sincere, your presentation is unprofessional. Give me some facts to back up your claims.

  • @1skinnyguy Natalie Butler is a registered dietician and I think she has some credibility in what she's talking about. Just because she's not dressed in a business suit and talking with her nose pointed to the sky doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's talking about. I don't mean to rag on you, but I have an appreciation for people who show concern for the health of others

  • @plcollins1987 Exactly, totally agree with you.

  • @plcollins1987 --- I , too, have appreciation for people who are concerned for health issues, BUT my point was that I am more impressed with facts than good intentions, and would like to see back-up evidence for those "facts" presented in a polished, professional way. Natalie's voice is irrittating and sometimes inarticulate.

  • Great video, excellent information & well presented too - Thanks!

  • just put the lime in the coconut and drink then both up

  • if you dont beleive her .its because your a coconut

  • The title"Nutritionist " is used very loosely and when you meet someone with that title, I would be skeptical. I true nutrition expert is a Registered Dietitian, or a Nutrition scientist who has an extensive background in Biochemistry and physiology. Even medical Doctors have very limited knowledge in Nutrition because nutrition is barely covered in medical school but yet you see many MDs coming out with nutrition products and books. There are too many quacks in the nutrition field.

  • What are this girls credentials? Does she have a degree in nutrition? She sounds dumb as hell.

  • @raghed911

Who cares about a degree from the corporate controlled medical schools. Credentials....just look what people with credentials are doing to America. Use your common sense and do your own DD. She is stating what she believes after research. And I agree with her. If you have never tried raw virgin coconut oil for an extended period to see the results, give it a try and observe the results.

  • @jgfergus I care because I studied hard in school and I obtained a degree in nutrition. The subject of nutrition has been hijacked over the years by so called "Nutrition experts and Doctors". Did you know that nutrition is barely covered in medical school but yet there are Medical Doctors, chiropractors, or herbalists trying to educate the public on a very complex subject matter. Do you know how complex a metabolic pathway can be. I hate to judge but this woman does not seem to be articulate.

  • @raghed911 How is not articulate? Because she makes this knowledge accessible?

  • @raghed911

I understand what you are saying. But nutrition is not a complicated subject. It's just that humans and our greed have made it so. All we need to do is eat the diet we were biologically designed to eat. We don't need doctors, naturopaths, nutritionists, etc to tell us that we need X amount of vitamin C or Y amount of protein daily. All creatures in the wild have figured that out eons ago without nutritionists. Today, most humans think a proper diet is pizza, coke, and ice cream. Sad!

  • @jgfergus It's all good. I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade but I do want people to know that there is more to understanding nutrition than just eating your veggies. Peace out.

  • @raghed911 Does this woman have extensive knowledge in the area of biochemistry? Nutrition is a very complex science and many people claim to be knowledgeable in the area and they make false claims. I am not saying that she is making false claims, but I have been in the field and I know when people sound knowledgeable. The general public needs to know where they should go to get proper nutritional advice. This subject has been hijacked by witch doctors and it is dangerous.

  • @raghed911 Anybody can get on a blog or youtube and do a commentary claiming that Vitamin is beneficial to the body, but can they go into an in depth physiological reason as to why it is beneficial? Can you tell me from a metabolic perceptive in why coconut oil is beneficial? Have you studied biochemistry? If you haven't, you should not be giving advice. That is like someone giving medical advice to the public if they don't have MD, DO, PA-C, or NP behind their names.

  • @raghed911 There are a lot of legit Nutrition journals that publish that publish extensive research materials and if you make claims like this. If you don't have a nutrition title, at least quote the scientific journals that you obtained the info from. Any person with a legitimate science background knows this. You build more credibility when you practice this procedure of information sharing.

  • But...but...Natalie, you told us in an earlier video, "If it's white, don't take a bite."

  • @KezoZydis It's clear ;)

  • @myfandango I see. So if it's white, don't take a bite. But if it's clear, have no fear.

  • Natalie you are awesome! Your vieo's are great and very helpful! Keep up the great work!

  • Thnx for the info.... U cute as well!

    Cheers!

  • she could wear a coconut bra

  • I've always loved coconuts, especially the raw ones. This video gave me excellent information, especially if you have inflammation anywhere in your body. There's so much misinformation out there about coconuts so this video will dispelled most of them.

  • I think Im in love with this gurl....

  • Here's a conspiracy theory....coconut has a bad rap in the US because it cannot be grown here, so the food industry would certainly like people to use corn-based or other such unnatural sources that can be grown large-scale in the US. It has nothing to do with nutrition.

  • Wow, coconuts aren't bad for you like twinkies and hotdogs? Oh gee that is so nice of you to point out. I could never have known that.

  • I could live off of coconut, seriously, it's amazing. <3

  • you put the lime in the coconut...

  • PEOPLE GET STRESSED EVERY DAY?! EAT A COCONUT. SHIT IT OUT.

  • But coconut milk is bad

  • Natalie forgot to mention the important disadvantage that coconut has a Lysine:Arginine ratio of 1:4, which is very bad for people with virus problems (e.g. herpes). Some "super"food!

  • id like to squeze her coconut

  • Fake. Coconuts are not real.

  • In the shops here I only get grated coconut (dried). I guess this means that the oil is oxidized, so it's not healthy, right?

  • Thanks for your detailed explanation. I can see the whole picture now. I used to avoid coconut thinking that it will make me fat. Now I cook w/it , put it in my coffee daily and rub my skin w/it I LOVE IT!!

  • Coconuts make me shit my brains out XD !

  • Thank you very much for a useful information

  • gosh youre so boring get on with it instead of playing a weather girl

  • @lapidoutnumber

Oh please.... I would tell you a few choice words but Im trying to be a gentleman.

You must be a newcomer, This woman is a professional and she KNOWS what she's talking about, so

why dont you keep your opinion on the methods she provides , shut your mouth and LEARN SOMETHING.

Jeez man, you are totally rude and IGNORANT!

  • The West needs to adopt more of an Eastern life style, both food wise, medicine and other ways

  • coconut oil is bad, raw coconut is good.

  • @JackGreenOfficial Why is the oil bad?

  • Idiot!!! no such thing as extra virgin coconut oil! thats a name manufacturers "borrowed" from olive oil. Its the same as virgin but sounds "healthier".

  • Comment removed

  • here in hawaii were raised on coconuts and if you want another super food thats better then coconut is kalo or taro!!

  • In another video, Natalie says: "If it's white, don't take a bite!"

So, from the coconut, we're supposed to eat only the brown shell?

  • @ccd101 she was probably talking about rice and flour right ?

  • @ccd101 which video was this? i really gottawatch dat.. LoL

  • @adrian780

    watch?v=ZbU26gxE-Qw

  • Where can I find one like her to split my coconuts and WHERE do I get ones with flesh that's 1/2" think like the one behind her??

  • She says that "coconut is anti-fungal". Funny, then why do (organic) coconuts arrive with mold fungi here in Europe?

  • @ccd101 Because that's the outside of the coconut the husk... the white or the fruit if you will is where the anti fungal benefits are from and that does not mean that a coconut won't go rancid either.

    <
