I like country music for many reasons. The biggest one is that the artists an truly sing live! I like r&b and rock but it's either hit or miss on live vocals.

im a big fan of old school country and im a fan of rissi's as well. i grew up listening to all types of music ..country included and im a black woman in her 30s. ive been listening to country (and other genres) since i was little back in the 70s

This lady has a gimmick that happens to be a wonderful sound without the hokie crappiness of what cookie cutter country music is so laden with...... I can listen to her without needing to be sitting in a red neck bar surrounded by demoralising morons and past the legal limit to drive home..... Classy and Country hasn't happened in long time. .

@honeegrrl I heard Rissi was actually offered a R&B contract but she turned it down because she didn't feel it was her kind of music. Her family thought she was crazy but it shows her dedication to country and I think she will be successful in this genre
