That's the thing that makes United great when players like Keano, Irwin, Bruce, Cantona, Beckham when they left players like Neville, Scholes,etc just take over where they left off. This club never rebuilds they reload. With Neville gone and Van Der Sar after this season, its going to be the same thing. Players will come and take over. The same thing will happen with Scholes and Giggs this team will just keep on trucking because that's what we do.

Grown up watching these guys. Gary Neville was the first player I had on the back of a shirt in 95/96. I would do anything to go on watching these two and scholesy forever. Nothing will ever replace them.

2 Legends. Together with Scholes and Alex Ferguson they ARE Manchester United FC. I will miss them dearly and it will take me sometime to see my United without their best players. Loyalty, Longevity, Top Class and Top Attitude is something that is soo lacking in players today but these guys are a different story. Absolute legends. Giggsy is a rare example of a footballer you really cannot say anything bad about, & that's a special thing. You can probably find at least one bad thing to say about most of today's players so he really sets an example. As for Gary, say what you want about him but he is Mr. Manchester Utd. The club runs through his blood and he would go to war for it. Never bad having players like that in your team. It was a privilege growing up watching these guys.Gentlemen, i salute you.

Why do people always talk about how Ryan Giggs should of played for England. I would of loved to have seen that.

Giggs was born in Wales, and spent most of his childhood in Wales. His Parents and Grandparents are Welsh. He does have family from Sierra Leone. Giggs was more eligible to play for the African Sierra Leone than England.

Giggsy played for England at schoolboy level, and was captain. Which is where people may get confused.
