people! the reason why spino won was because they were machines used in the movie and spino machine was bigger, t rex would win in real life, ever watched behind the scenes footage?
We may not know 100% about these dinos but their fossil records, ancestries and cousins really tell a lot about them. For example Spino had weak jaws especially for its size also very weak teeth that are actually hollowed and are actually shaped and positioned for smaller fish, the arms were small to medium and weren't really flexible(they couldn't grab large prey) also they're very slender,logically it just couldn't possible take down large land prey but only fish.
The fossil records of T-rex show a different picture. The teeth are actually very powerful and are actually impact resistant as well as armor shattering that were built to take down some of the most fearsome land preys but it also had far superior jaws(around or more 6000pound pressure)it also had very superior senses and is even highly intelligent as well as a highly physically strong dino especially compared to the Spino and even the Giga.
JP3 exaggerated Spino because the NEW director wanted a new top dino and also Jack Horner is the reason why Spino was falsely chosen, SURPRISINGLY the reason why he thought Spino could win wasn't for the claws but because it was longer and had a longer head...just like an 8yr depicts creatures rather then actually learn about them. They fail to acknowledge it's slender, NOT a hunter of large land prey, the head and neck is long for fishing, weak jaws,hollowed teeth,short/medium inflexible arms
As far as I'm concerned, a clash between these two could go either way:
Spino has a slight size and weight advantage, as well as larger, stronger arms. On the other hand, T. Rex has enormously powerful jaws designed for killing other large dinosaurs, a feature Spino's skull simply lacks (I'm not saying Spino couldn't do it; he probably just didn't do it as often as a Rex).
In the end, I'd say the defining factor in a struggle would be the amount of experience each individual possesses.

@Scorpion951 lol clearly the directors made a mistake the first bite from the t rex in the real fight shouldve snapped the spino's neck already because the t rex has a stronger bite force and the spinosaurus has a longer mouth because it was meant for fishing. I am not a fanboy I used to be when I was little but not anymore im pointing this out because it is true.

@Chunkykong2009 You're wrong on that, T-rex did had the strongest jaws but Spino arms aren't that large(medium) especially compared to Spinos body also the arms aren't flexible especially the wrists so in the end of the day the Spino doesn't even have claws as an advantage either way, at least barely and that's just logic.Spinos arms aren't large nor powerful to kill of even face off such a powerful beast such as T-rex, remember creatures like T-rex had very thick hides and it was very muscular

I hate how all media is trying to ridicule the T-rex these days all of a sudden.

We may not know 100% about these dinos but their fossil records, ancestries and cousins really tell a lot about them. For example Spino had weak jaws especially for its size also very weak teeth that are actually hollowed and are actually shaped and positioned for smaller fish, the arms were small to medium and weren't really flexible(they couldn't grab large prey) also they're very slender,logically it just couldn't possible take down large land prey but only fish.

The fossil records of T-rex show a different picture. The teeth are actually very powerful and are actually impact resistant as well as armor shattering that were built to take down some of the most fearsome land preys but it also had far superior jaws(around or more 6000pound pressure)it also had very superior senses and is even highly intelligent as well as a highly physically strong dino especially compared to the Spino and even the Giga.
There are fossils with T-rex bites.

JP3 exaggerated Spino because the NEW director wanted a new top dino and also Jack Horner is the reason why Spino was falsely chosen, SURPRISINGLY the reason why he thought Spino could win wasn't for the claws but because it was longer and had a longer head...just like an 8yr depicts creatures rather then actually learn about them. They fail to acknowledge it's slender, NOT a hunter of large land prey, the head and neck is long for fishing, weak jaws,hollowed teeth,short/medium inflexible arms

As far as I'm concerned, a clash between these two could go either way:
Spino has a slight size and weight advantage, as well as larger, stronger arms. On the other hand, T. Rex has enormously powerful jaws designed for killing other large dinosaurs, a feature Spino's skull simply lacks (I'm not saying Spino couldn't do it; he probably just didn't do it as often as a Rex).
In the end, I'd say the defining factor in a struggle would be the amount of experience each individual possesses.
