  • plz dont do any more vedios on indian makeup.

  • I like you! Just saw your Japan clip & look forward to seeing your other ones!! Shot!

  • i dont find it funny. U claim that u like the culture but it doesnt look that way.

If u want to go to africa wil u paint ur face black?

  • I agree.. In addition you look Native American?? Certainly not Indian

  • you look indian more than indian

  • hey am indian an i liked ur video it was fun to watch...i liked how ur sis did the eyes.

  • oh thank you so much! :) I am very happy you likd it ;D

  • Pls Leave any negativity at the point of clicking onto this wondrous clip, for as it is only for entertainment purposes and not for educational. Someone who is not genetically linked to the Indian culture is taking an interest!!! (which is a fortunate and common occurence may i add (",)..) So let it be and dispose of any hostility.. Thankyou.

  • Well THANK YOU for this comment, how wonderful to have a breath of light fresh air as your comment was for me :) As i said before, this was not made to offend anyone, it is just me and my sister and a makeup session :) thank you again!

  • I agree. It is nice to know that there are people out there who do take such an interest in the culture. This video was nice. =)

  • Your sister is the perfect make-up artist and you are the perfect model...it`s gorgeus and so are u...i enjoyed it very very much.

  • Thank you so much for your kind comment, i am very happy you liked this video and i will tell my sister you liked her techniques! :D

  • I am sorry if i offended you, this was not meant to offend anyone.

  • aww thats so sweet.

well no one can be perfect right?

it was a joy to find your video =)

don't worry it takes alot to put videos up here and have all eyes on you, picking at every detail lol

    whats your background?

  • Well i am from Brazil and i have no connections from India except my admiration for its culture :) how about you?

  • I love the way you handle critisim.

Loved the song and the makeup. The lighting could have been better but oh well.

Oh and I love that you respect indian culture!

  • Oh what a joy to have found your comment, thank you so much! :) you are very kind and well i guess that the people who made critics about this video only wanted it to be perfect, and i respect that :) thank you again for your kind words :D

  • I am very much disappointed... while shooting this video, you could have done better lighting around you. Secondly, the quality of makeup application is very poor. The way eye-makeup was done is quite dishartning... lip makeup is rubbish... worst part of your makeup is the bindi on forehead... none of this should be done the way you have done.... costume should have been selected properly... please re-do the video..

  • I am sorry i have offended you in any way... this is how i read the indian culture, but as you said maybe it is a wrong way. Please be sure i am an admirer of indian culture and will research more next time :) thank you for your comment :D

  • I really liked ur made in japan video.. now i feel as though so much effort was put into bringing out the beauty of that culture... how how no thoughts were put into this.. i almost feel disrespected.

im saying this in the most nicest way possible. Im not a believer of saying harsh words to somebody who put in the effort to post great videos..

  • I am so very sorry you felt bad with this video. Maybe you can not see it, but i have much passion for indian culture then for the japanese culture. Maybe some of my views are wrong or maybe the information i got were misleading. The fact is that i would never do anything to offend anyone. And i fully respect your comment, for it is a constructive critic and one of the nicest and most polite ones i have ever got. Thank you for sharing your thoughts :D

  • I found your video very fun to watch. But I dunno why u darkened ur face to that extent. I dont like how Indians or even middle eastern people are potrayed as all being dark, which is not true.

you should have taken more time on the bindi part it was so rushed and looked messed up..

im not dissing because i loved watching it keept it up

  • Hello! thank you for your comment. I made this video during wintertime and i looked very pale then. That is why it looks so dark. If you saw me live face to face, you would see that i was only "sun kissed". Although i have to say i am aware that not all indians or middle eastern people have darker skin. This was more of a excuse to use the dark foundation we had laying around. Plus i always thought i looked better with darker skin, dont you think? :)

  • Yeh i guess making it darker did add something diff perhaps it would not have been a big difference.. Im happy to know that u did not get offended by my comment, and i know that ur intentions are not to disrespect

  • HEY, WHAT BLACK PENCIL ARE YOU USING?

  • that would be a black MAC kajal :) it is softer on the skin then a regular pencil

  • I love that Mohammed Rafi song! Job well done on the look :]

  • i love the song too, it is one of the most wonderful songs i have ever heard :) thanks, i will tell my sister you liked the look :D

  • heyy its GOOD! lol, i like it

  • thanks, im happy you like it! :)

  • Wow this is great too! I love the ending.

Are you going to do more makeup videos? If you do, continue doing different eras and cultures!

  • Thanks so much, im happy to know you enjoyed this one - yes i am keeping up with makeup videos, maybe this week! :D

  • I am confused as to why you darkened your face and neck? What was wrong with the color they already were? Love the necklaces by the way.

  • My sister and i were just curious about how i would look like in a darker skin shade...when i go to the beach and have some sun, that is what i look like anyways. We wondered if we could reproduce that with makeup :) thanks i like the necklaces too! :D

  • so i exceeded my limit lolz but as i was saying...the sari look alike part wus cute...im now startin to do makeup too, well posting them and i think a little later on ill start doing tutorials on youtube, and on my page u can find a lot of nice older indian songs if ud like=] ok this is 2 long!...bye now take care =]

  • Also i really like this song, it is from a movie soundtrack called "moonsoon wedding" that i like very much :) I am looking foward to checking out your page and tutorials. For now, thank you for your comment and take care :)

  • so im actually indian, not from india but my grandparents r from...and i think you guys did a good job lol...thats a hot song u picked too! =] umm i dont know what ur sister did above ur eyebrows, it looked like question marks but i know what she was trying to do, next time if there will be a next time you shud use rhinestones =]...

  • thank you ever so much for your kind comment. It is really good to know that you as an indian descendent liked my video. I mean it as a tribute, and so i know you got this meaning by forgiving my errors. Thank you for being understanding about it :) What are rhinestones, by the way?

  • absolutly amazing make-up..

btw the nose-piercing looked good on the model;) hope to see more!

  • thanks, i have to tell my sister you liked the makeup :) the fake nose piercing was my idea im happy you noticed it (not many people do) ;D if you search my channel you will find more makeup videos and i hope you enjoy them! ;D

  • thanks for that i'll buy one soon.... i was thinking you should try doing the make up of a bharatanatyam dancer (a traditional indian dancer) if you look on google or youtube you will see what they look like, that would be fun :-)

  • thanks for the tip, i miss making makeup videos, so your suggestion is very welcome! ;)

  • Omg this is such a greaat video :) thanks for sharing it

  • thanks, im happy you liked it! thanks for watching! ;D

  • Hey Kopkitty.... cool video... i was wondering if you could tell me what the eye liner pencil used on you is called, would much appreciate it if you could :-) cheers x

  • Hey Honey! :D thanks for your comment and the eye makeup i used on this video was MAC´s khol eyeliner - color: charcoal. this khol eyeliner is smoother and easier to spread then a regular pencil eyeliner. But i guess you could get any smooth black eyeliner to do this, as long as you are not allergic to it ;)

  • Great job!

    have you ever seen devdas?

do you know how to do the aish make-up?

or have u seen Madhuri Dixit (der se ana of khalnayak)?

    *check it out on youtube*

anyway, can you tell me how to do the make-up

    thanx

  • thank you and well i will look up this aish makeup, and then i will let you know, how about it? thanks for the tips, i will check them out! :D

  • thanx a lot

    :D

  • wow! you are beautiful and you look more beautiful in this video

  • Oh, thank you very much! You are very kind to say so :) im happy you enjoyed it! :)

  • is it jus me or does the base seem a bit orange for this girl??

  • the base seems orange because my camera reacts to the blue scarf making everything seem orange! can you believe that? the base is tanned, but not orange...i cant imagine what i cna do to fix the camera about that! :)

  • poxa... sensacional!

  • que bom que você gostou! :D obrigada!

  • wow ... that was a good one

  • thanks! :)

  • i looove this song!

  • Me too! :) Glad you share it with me! :)

  • Everything was alright except those decorations on the forehead.... We Indians do that only at the time of marriage..

  • Oh really? I find it so interesting and beautiful, it is like a very fancy makeup then? Im sorry if i made that mistake, i just found it so pretty! :)

  • oye hoye maar sutya kudiye , if you dont know what i wrote find someone who speaks punjabi

  • This is a really good video I enjoyed watching it, the only thing I thought is that you have lovely colouring and to look Indian doesnt mean having darker skin, I myself am Indian and have white skin its all about the features especially the eyes but very good make up skills keep up the good work!!

  • Oh, i know for a fact that you dont have to have dark skin to be indian! :D Still i find it *so* beautiful to have this skin tone, especially with the dark makeup around the eyes... anyways, it was a humble tribute of what i find most beautiful in the indian culture, that i like a lot! :) thank you for your comment and for understanding :)

  • ooo pretty

  • Thanks! ;D

  • god damn u do look like an indian girl after the make up!

  • (giggles) thanks! :D

  • i like it

  • thank you! :D

  • holy jesus, indianangels! Your half black and indian! That's something you don't see everyday. I'm proud of your parents! What kind of indian and what kind of black? Like are you jamaican black or trini etc.?

  • :) well thank you for your comment! Being from brazil, we are a very mixed up race - but i can tell you for sure i have russian, portuguese and native indian blood! :) I guess that was a good mixture, heh?

  • Beautiful! And in response to Fobbia: even though I'm not Indian myself, the lovely Indian women I've seen near where I live here in the U.S. tend to wear LOTS of eyeliner. So do the Mexican Latinas and women from the Middle East countries. I think kopkitty was just copying what she has seen in movies and such, and was doing a tribute to something she admired. Or course, Indian and Brazilian women are lovely even without the eyeliner :)

  • thank you! :) you are correct: this is just one of the views from indian makeup. maybe because it is the most captured by cameras until today. Besides being indian, the eyeliner is indeed something a girl can wear and always look good! :) thanks you for your wonderful comment, you really said what i cant really express! :D

  • Ok i'm indian and i have to point out that we have a lot of people that look just like you, without the 100lbs of eyeliner. there really is no need to orange yourself up to look like an indian girl. however i did find this pretty entertaining :)

  • oh, i did not intend to make this video to say that everyone in India looks like this. For what i see in movies and god´s porters, this was just a small tribute to this beautiful culture i admire so. Our countries are very similar - we are surronded by diversity and someday i will visit your marvelous country. I did not intent to offend you, im sorry. Still thank you for your comment, it was very generous of you :D

  • yea the orange thing was a little strange... lol

  • it was wasnt it? LOL :)

  • yea i can see your brazilian-ness

  • :D thanks! :)

  • si, de nada, eres bonita

  • amazing! you're beautiful =)

  • thank you! you are very kind! :)

  • i feel sorry for u ! lol !!! u were doing this for fun and then come along all the " we take our indianness very seriously " people! cmon guys ease off, u dont have to constantly prove how great india is !!! Chill ! U did great though u did look like an extra from a 1950s movie! hehe.

  • Well thanks for your comment, i guess this video was meant to entertain more then to educate, i guess :) Well being an extra on a 50´s movie is pretty glamourous, dont you think? thanks for being so kind :)

  • naf

  • thanks! :)

  • "Today the Weather Plays Tricks On Me" puts me in an Indian mood. You might also be an American Indian as well as from the Indian continent, Kopkitty. An article in the LA Times discussed India and China today as they work toward resolving an ancient border dispute.
