guys this phone, will just cause you problem after problem, if it isn't freezing, the screen will; just white out, or it will jus reboot itself. In fairness, for the price it is brilliant, but best tip is do not use ANY internet based apps (excluding bbm) unless you are on wifi, the EDGE is so slow, you will kill yourself, before the page will load. For all you people getting it for christmas, youi will love it if you haven't had a blackberry before because all blackberry's are great at first.

Theres a good question! I haven't used the bold, but I used to have a curve until a few days ago and it served me rather well. It can't do as much as an average smartphone today, but for what it can do it does well.

Had this phone for about 8months now, and the other week I got the new Blackberry Curve 9360, the new one is so much better it's UNREAL! So much faster, smoother and has a lot of little extras that makes using it so much more enjoyable! Easier to type on, and doesn't LAG! This phone lags so much it's unreal! Seriously, if you want to get a Blackberry Curve, get the new one! It is definitely worth the extra money! Please like this comment so people know what phone to get!

first off, the phone material is horrible, its so cheap and plasticy that is chips and scratches very easily (and the scratches are very visible, even small ones) the keyboard is one piece, so that if you move one key, the whole keyboard shifts. also, the LED backlight that lights up the keys, etc is really bad and it dies, like half my backlight is dead and lastly, it doesn't support 3G so you can't have a data plan, therefore you can't have BBM
