The Big Daddies, in my opinion ( I know people will t-down me for my opinion ), are all male. They are named based on characteristics. Rosies use a Rivet Gun ( Rosie the Riveter) Bouncers tend to be hostile to nearby targets and valiant guardians (hence their names).

I might be wrong though, so I welcome corrections.

Hey I think you are right but i think they are called bouncers because when they drill the ground and a bouncing effect i could be wrong tho.
