this by far is NOT the best event in dc,.... DC Carnival is the best and largest festival in and around DC,.. the last week in june every year on georgia ave. n.w.,. be there !!
It's the best event in Washington DC every year. The crowds there are HUMONGOUS, so you have to arrive at least an hour early to get a spot where you can see the race well. After the race, there's a huge street party in 17th Street and you can have your photo taken with all the drag queens. Great fun!
