  • No estoy del todo seguro, pero hace muchísimos años, por allá en los 70, había escuchado esta versión que me parece genial. Espero les guste

  • The full line up on the album is as follows: Louis Moholo - drums, Dudu Pukwana - alto sax, Bizo Mnggikana - tenor sax, Mongezi Feza - cornet, Fred Coker - guitarist and Charles Ononogbo - bass. There is no pressing date on the record or the jacket of the version I've got. But I seem to remember buying it in 1972

  • Wow, this video so didn't go with the song . . . it's funny!! ;)

I LOVE ASSAGAI so thanks for this.

  • Wow. I'm studying jazz at university, and we did some tunes by Dudu Pukwana, who i hadn't heard of. Just put him on youtube, and i've found this band. Wow

  • Thanks, I do have the LP, courtesy to the internet vinyl sellers. But I like listening to it on Youtube as well.

  • Jamacanxbou,

After Christmas I will upload some more tracks of this African band that toured Britain in the 1970's.

I tranfered to a CD the orginal ones from the LP that was issued at the time. I believe it is still available in some music distributors in London. Try them.

  • My favorite beatle's cover. Great unknown album this one. Can you add the rest of the songs?
