This is a swedish nyckelharpa (you can hear the "clicking" sounds with each note - thats the "keys" on nyckelharpa). A very nice production, I must say!
@090513102 i don't think it's nyckelharpa, as far as i know she uses to play an instrument called hardingfele. I'm not completely sure, and looking at the picturse in this video, the instrument shown is a hardingfele. but i can be wrong :) anyway, bloody beautiful
@radicasterian It is definitely a swedish nyckelharpa or nøkkelharpe in norwegian. (literally "key harp", plural nyckelharpor or sometimes keyed fiddle) I've never heard a swede play it as good as Annbjørg (but then I'm norwegian and a bit in love with the music of Annbjørg Lien)

i am guessing this on a nyckelharpa, the only reason is the clicking (of the keys) i can hear in the background...
