I'd never hear of him until now. Although I play tenor and alto I've been concentrating on the alto (lead swing/big band style), but this has reminded me of why I prefer the tenor. He's beautiful.

When I first heard George Adams, I almost couldn't belive how wonderful he played. The sound he makes is amazing. I hear a bit of Ayler in his tone but he's even better. He was a very underrated musician.
