you just need adaptor for your micro sd card and put it in your computer....or if you have usb adaptor for micro sd card insert it into your computer... you need first to format it and after you can see the place of your card..... for example H://

My cousin had the same problem, he brought it broken, The usb connector wouldn,t be recognized by the computer.I kept on putting the usb connector(with the sd card) back in and out until windows itself offered to scan it when th scan is complete your r4 will work:)

yes you can restart your ds without always turning it off..... just push all the bottoms together R+L+ X+Y+A+B and the ds will restart to R4 menu so you can load another game.

if you have same problem, that your screen just keeping saying `loading` you can fix that soon....format your sdhc (fat32) on your computer..... and download this firmware R4-III v3.11 kernel, put all folders and files into your card. that's all. it works!

if you have original R4....not sdhc...or other version...let me know.

the english folder u cut everything out of the english folder copy to your sd card ( outside the egnlish folder) and rename the enlish folder games and put games and try if that works

i am sorry to hear that.....yes you can't use 8 GB on normal R4...... you can buy 4 GB or just upgrade buying R4 SDHC and you can use that 8 GB micro sd..... because R4 SDHC can support up 32GB.

you can buy R4 SDHC with SDHC 8 GB(memory card).

you need R4 SDHC and  a micro sdhc 4 gb or 8 gb or 16gb or 32 gb is okay....

the right kernel need to use the software on your ds.....

if you have R4 (normal one) you can use up to 4 GB (normal micro card not SDHC) and you must download another firmware(kernel)...there are two different pages of firmware for R4 SDHC and for the normal R4.

you need to format first your sd micro card.....after format that....just drag the files of kernel into the root of your ds.

Actually, fake ones can damage your Micro SD card and sometimes can blow a fuse in your NDS. So it would be less trouble and more safe if you get a real one.

you must have a micro sd card (SDHC format)  and you need latest firmware for R4 III upgrade....that is R4-III v3.10kernel.
