  • who is that woman? I have never heard about her however I am a Hungarian. This slob brings shame on us.

Damn, the whole Eu is filled with such a well paid bureaucrats that can not even express themselves in English.

  • Hilary Clinton was a gay youth 50 years ago.

  • Sheesh! She's a bloody disgrace! Perhaps she should consider selling pencils on some shady street corner in Budapest instead of representing Hungary. In fact, she looks like a hippo on prozac that has not seen water in weeks. She really needs a bath to start off with, followed by a change of clothes ...

  • i am Hungarian, too - never heard such a proverb and ashamed to watch this women using her broken English to express her stupid ideas. And her arrogance is that of a 5-years old.. And she get paid for representing us.. Irritating. But she is only one of the many.

  • I'm hungarian ,and I have to tell you all folks, that we don't have any proverbs about monkeys.

Edit Herczog is an arrogant idiot.

  • I have heard of paying peanuts and you get monkeys - in this case we are paying through the nose and still we get monkeys. Me thinks the lady from Hungary is too used to having people appointed, maybe one day she will be able to think for herself and get to grips with what democracy means.

  • God..at least she should have combed her hair.. and maybe its me who is ignorant but I have never heared that proverb she quoted in Hungary

  • my god....the hungarian sociailsts have clearly outdone themselves again, appointing this...talking thing to the parliament. I mean I'm amazed that she can walk upright, let alone come up with such brilliant rhetoric schemes. She should be appointed ruler of the world. And by ruler I mean the thing use to measure things.

  • This woman is a disgrace to Hungary, and I, as a Hungarian apologize for her stupid behaviour. Besides, what proceeds out of her mouth is not a hungarian proverb at all.

  • in not hungarian, but she says "if the monkey goes up to the tree, its better to seen how red is his popo"

    Popo means ass

  • Wait, so if some Hungarian buffoon who can barely speak English and apparently thinks Cathy Ashton is a man uses an analogy to call Farage a monkey taking a shit up a tree that's OK, but if he uses the word pygmy in an entirely appropriate analogical sense... that's not?

And how can a speech be slapped down for being "inappropriate" simply because it wasn't smiley and happyclappy enough?!

  • what a farce, let all the poor retarded races and nations rape the wealth of the richest!!! it will lead to war!

  • The EU is shit! They are destroying every nation of Europe!

  • They can't even speak English so they don't understand him and that Hungarian, well, spoken like a true eastern European, conditioned by the Soviets.

  • yes, member of the "social" fraction. Seeing her age, I definitely say, she was conditioned by the soviet type of socialism... no wonder, they find the EU so "good"...

  • Well you have spoken like a true british, taking advantage of, enslaving, feudalizing every other nation possible.

    ---

This woman is a member of the hungarian socialist party, successor of the communist party of the soviet era.

See those headphones? what do you think those are for?

  • Did that woman say "let the monkey go up the tree to see how red is his popo"???

And was the President doing an impression of Stanley Unwin?

  • "It's good that you are here because if the monkey goes up to the tree, it's better seen how that is his popou"

    ?

  • So what is a popou?

  • Beats me.

    Any Hungarians care to explain?

  • Well, I am Hungarian, but I have no idea, what that woman is talking about... maybe some proverb from the Soviet era??? :DDD

  • she meant "popo"... meaning the German word "Po", or "Popo", which simply means "ass" (apparently a "proper" description in the EU-Parliament for describing somebody, who has been elected by the people, as opposed to a well based and well formed critic against a non elected buerocrat...) no comment, really. This EU-parliament reminds me on the Soviet "politbueros"... Vaclav Klaus is in many ways right...

  • Yep, sounds about right - call the elected, powerless members (and by extension, the voters) asses

  • it means "ass". She is an idiot.
