My assumption is that it used to be patriotic. It's left hand is over it's heart and it's right hand was probably for holding a flag. Can't imagine what was on the face but it seems to have been removed and replaced with that awesome finger mask. I used to have one of those too - prob one of my fav toys. The box has a picture of its ugly face and that description, and that's it.
